Hope you are able to bring a few fans this Saturday for what should be a good game.I will now just play back the video of last years game on our website to get me in the mood- hope we dont leave it as late as we did in both fixtures last year

There is no doubt we are capable of going to grantham and getting a result ,then again we could lose 4-0 ,it all depends on the day , could our visit saturday start grantham downfall , who knows ,i still think they will win the title ,my view hasnt changed, neither has the view we are still good enough to reach the playoffs ,if only the season was just starting .

I think we've shown over the season we're capable of going anywhere and getting a result - the problem earlier in the season was lack of consistency, mainly due to being unable to field a settled side, particularly in the back four, because of injuries. We now seem to have some consistency and this shows in our unbeaten start to 2012 and the fact that we are top of the form table.
With Grantham being second in the form table, this match seems set up for a cracker. In the 4-0 win at Grantham a couple of years ago, Shotts scored 2, and his return could be the difference.

You know quite unusually as I attend every game, I have no memory of that defeat Alan- maybe perhaps because unlike last years matches it had no meaning!
Anyone coming saturday?

It's strange, I have a similar affliction whereby I can only recall the first 89 minutes of most of our recent meetings.

Tonyf's affliction probably means he can't remember last seasons playoff final either
And, perhaps for Grantham that 4-0 drubbing had no meaning (strangely, defeats always seem to have no meaning for the team defeated), but it was the springboard for our highest ever position in the football pyramid and a place in the playoffs at the end of that season.

I notice that no one has indicated that they will be attending this saturday? Will the flags find their own way there? Last season the gate was 310.

Sorry, I was unaware we had to check in online in advance of attending.

I'll be there with Mrs Al as well. Could you advise how many we need to bring to avoid our support being labelled as "pathetic" on your forum after the game? :)

We are now so used to teams in this league turning up with literally no fans the pathetic meter has been discarded.Would be nice to see 20 or 30 in the ground and hear them shout for the Grove ever so often. :D

I'll be doing Twitter updates as usual.

What's everyone been doing to their backs?! Can't believe the injury problems have now spread to the supporters!
