Should play the reserves more often, they seem better than the first team. Quite right about seeing who's celebrating on Saturday. I believe it's us

Good job u know the English language fat boy ( we all know who you are ) , I would never have picked that up. Compared to you even Bernard Manning was lightweight. Still the same outcome , Freak NIL yes NIL , Little Kidsgrove ONE yes just ONE , but 3 more points fat boy. Look at the table , says it all , AGAIN

Barry P (Rick?) and yellowandpurples (probably the colour of the tablets he takes) must be bored with the inactivity on their website! You are fools if you think we are bothered by what you say or think. I myself was there but can understand those that stayed away. A bad week for Leek - 2 defeats against their 'inferior' but more civilised neighbours, plus a big loss on the gate today, will leave those absent Grove fans sitting smug and justified in their armchairs tonight. As I sit here I myself am feeling somewhat aglow with the satisfaction of 2 victories over Leek in 4 days - when was that last time that happened? I would urge all Grove fans to ignore the Leek neanderthals who come onto our site just as we ignored their baiting on Tuesday and today. Class rises to the top and s**t sinks to the bottom as we have all seen! Credit to Wardy today for his formation changes from Tuesday. I don't think Leek realised til too late that we played with only 3 at the back to give them less time in midfield, while also pushing 3 up front when attacking. It certainly stopped them playing like Tuesday, although the players certainly were much improved all round compared to recent weeks. I would suggest that Tuesday's Leek team seemed stronger and had more ideas than todays and was surprised to see Mitch Shenton miss out after dominating Ricky Bridge on Tuesday. I also thought that our players and supporters took the win in their stride and did not go over the top in their celebrations as suggested, although who can blame Nick Ward if he did after being called 'You fat bas***d' all game (it is Leek, after all). I certainly remember Leek Town reacting like they'd won the FA Cup when they beat us at their place last season (only to press the self destruct button and not win another game that season). As for talk of a director leaving Grove and joining Leek I can assure all Grove fans that if it is who I think it is then it is another victory for Grove! By the way, Blue Mugge are playing at the Seddon Stadium tomorrow in the FA Sunday Cup against a team from Nottingham. A big gate expected (they are bringing a coach full) and kick-off is 2PM - see you all there! |
