Mrs A has volunteered to go in the centre of defence to organise and shout at everyone. :D

I'm worried she may get distracted by Ricky though

Unlucky considering the weakened team we had out ! Walker had best chance , but he got distracted by reeces bald head reflecting the sun and hit the bar ;)

six players out ,walker could only manage last 20 minutes , created 3 chances in that time hitting the bar, unlucky , deserved a draw really, not much between teams, full strenght squad would of seen us get something today

Can't fault the team today. For large parts of the game we comfortably lived with them, and on a different day with with a fully-fit squad we could well have got something.

Every one of the players deserve credit for keeping us in with a chance - Aiden Matranga chased everything for 90 minutes, Liam did a valiant job up front on his own for most of the game, Alex Morris as a stand-in defender did a decent job. Maybe if Dave's shot had gone in and not hit the bar, things may have been different, but on the whole I think this game was cursed for us from the moment the draw was made!

On the plus side, we won 5-1 on the flags (bringing a chant of "We want six!" from the home crowd :D), 5-0 on the rattles and 1-0 on out of tune trumpets!!

Sheffield drew, so Tuesday's game off.
Barwell won (surprise, surprise) so we won't be going there on 9th October either

Sorry, I 'd forgot about your rattle

Walker wasn't fully fit, that's why he started on the bench.
