played alot better tuesday and lost, market drayton were a poor side,we didnt play well ,poor finishing in a game we should of had 5 goals, still it shows how far we have come to play so poorly and have so many chances, shots and dave hit the post along with tim.drayton had one real effort on goal in the last minute a fanstastic shot ,producing the best save ive seen in a long time,so many thanks steve

I thought that was going to be Tuesday night all over again. Started well and Dave Walker scored with a header to give us an early lead. We then continued to create opportunites and not take them, hitting the post three times and fluffing several more chances against an outfield player in goal following a first half injury to their keeper.

They put us under pressure in the last 10 minutes and in the end we've needed an absolutely brilliant save from Steve to hold onto the points. But 3 points is 3 points :D

I'm just wondering if there's a weight of expectation on the team at the moment. The players look really down after they've played badly (even if we've won), and some of the play's been a bit tense out on the pitch. I'm looking forward to the FA Cup game next week where we'll be underdogs. Might lead to a more relaxed performance.

Good first run out for the rattles!
