Where's the bloody justice!
After a fantastic win over Chasetown we prayed that the gods would be kind and give us a home draw against anybody. Failing that, an away game against someone like Halifax, FC United or even Newcastle Town, so that our share of the gate would be at least decent.
There are 160 clubs in the next round, 44 of which are taken up by the Blue Square North and South clubs joining the round.
So to get drawn away against one of the poorer supported Blue Square teams (2 leagues above us) is bad luck indeed! (they did have over 600 fans on Saturday watching their home game against Telford but I am told that a large proportion of these were Telford fans - they normally get 200 odd).
However, one bit of hope - they are in Stafford Rangers' league and Stafford beat them a couple of weeks ago - and we all know how much we enjoy handing out beatings to them!

And we couldn't have got Truro away because the draw is still regional (i.e. we have only got Blue Square north, unibond, north west counties, north east counties, midalnd alliance, etc).

The way I look at it, if we're going to win this damn competition this year we're going to have to beat better teams than Solihull, so it's good practice!

Your thinking of Adam Cunnington, despite him only scoring once for us so far in the league, he has looked good.

If we'd advanced 2 more games last season we'd have had Leeds followed by Man U, so you never know :)

Sounds about right unfortinatley :(

Hope you all enjoy your trip to Damson park in 2 weeks, how many do you think you are likely to bring?

Hopefully we'll bring a decent following - seems to have varied between 10 and 50 for away trips so far this season! Plus a yet to be confirmed number of flags and musical (!) instruments!

Solihull beat Stalybridge 3-1 yesterday and are now 8th in the table.

Had a dream last night that we drew 2-2 there - Dave Walker and a last minute own goal. I think I need to get out more!!
