There was always an inevability about this score line , considering who was absent today.

Never can there be a more compelling argument in asking Reece to stay away permanently , as we alawys seem to win when he's not in attendance.

Another strong performance against a team who play at the level above us , and we never really looked threatened.

Hall , Shotton and Beaso scored , but a special mention for Dave Walker , who has worked so hard in the last 2 games without scoring.

Finally , well done to the Kidsgrove junior team , who annoyed the hell out of Chasetowns keeper in the second half - priceless

Fantastic result for the club against higher league opposition, and well deserved too. Looking forward to the draw on Monday. :D

Two really important league games between now and then though. First up George the Squid's title tips, Grantham, who managed to lose 7-1 at Glapwell today, then bottom of the table Market Drayton. We could do with a good points haul to keep us up there.

As a bonus, we actually moved up a place to 4th in the league today as well after Goole's loss!

Hoping for a winnable game so we can try to equal our best run in the competition. Plus, at this stage I'd imagine the prize money easily outweighs any potential gate receipts.
