How many are going to Harrison park next Monday , in view of what happened on our last visit ?

We'll be giving it a miss (applies to next Monday or any other time). It's obviously diificult because we'd love to be there supporting the lads but I'm not giving a penny of my hard earned cash to Leek Town FC. Plus, Mrs Al doesn't feel safe there. :(

I am not going either, they said they would kick off, i don't think anyone is safe. I am sure the team will understand if the number of supporters are down, they all know what happened. I wish them luck and hope they really get one over them by beating them about 6 - 0

I'll be going, but only because its the first time in my recollection that Kidsgrove start as such heavy favourites (I know last year we were the better side during the season but that kind of evolved through the season and Leek were also up there as well). On the form the lads are in we could give them a belting (and I wouldn't want to miss that) - however, their cabbage patch pitch will probably even it up a bit.
Anyway, everyone knows I won't be paying anyway . . . .

For anyone interested in going and can't get there, we have use of the minibus, so let me know!

I am definitely not going. Leek's Stewards could not cope with that little bit of trouble so can you imagine if something serious happened? I felt very unsafe there last time so unfortunately I will only be able to support the best team in the league in spirit. Come on Ricky Bridge!!!!! :D

I know all about it. Not sure how Liam feels though, he seems to have fallen out of favour! Probably relieved...

Not safe, its leek town not millwall

I know you mean well Tom , but there are a number of reasons

1. Do not wish to face the possibility of our possessions being vandalised
2. No desires to receive threats of our cars being trashed
3. Put money into the pocket of Leek Town
4. or its so called man of his word ( Chairman ) who we have NO respect or time for ( he'll be made aware of that at our place , if he comes )
5. Got to cut the grass

Seroiusly , there is too much bad blood that exists still after our last visit , and I know a large chunk of fans who will NOT come because of your Chaiman's failure to keep a promise ( a mans word , so that rules him out ).

Even if we were guaranteed to win 5 nil , I could not see most like Alan and myself ever changing our minds on this topic.

Good luck to those who choose to go !!!! :ph43r:

Craftmans right!! We dont think your Millwall, dont make us laugh!! Most of us dont give a shit about your poxy little so called firm and after following Stoke home and away for years, can promise you Leek Town is small fry when it comes to bricking it at away games, obviously youve never been Middlesboro and Swansea etc!!! What the whole point of this is, we are not scared, we are boycotting this fixture, due to the total lack of respect shown by your poxy club last season!! All could have been forgiven, if your chairman had of made the gesture to charity which we requested!!

as a former supporter of leek, but dew to a move am now watching kidsgrove. i was there all home games last season and never saw any trouble that day so i wont coment on that, but i presume that it was caused by young 1s who are not leek supporters but just go down 4 trouble when there is a local derby on. this should be addressed. as for cars getting vandalised i dont think it was cause you were from kidsgrove how would they know it was your cars ? the majority of leek supporters are lovely respectfull people and i for 1 am looking forward to going and watching the match. one thing u can say for leek is they have great support for there players, and all u are doing is showing your players up 2 be not well supported. so if i were u i would put your grudges in the past and go and support kidsgrove.

I agree with supporting the team but Mr Bag puss seems to be missing the point that the Leek town chairman went back on his word and people are against putting any money in the Leek town pocket.

?How about as a good will gesture all Grove fans get a free pass for the game? :P

I believe that will happen shortly after Leek win the Non-league Playing Surface of the Year award.

its very sad this never got sorted ,im sure like everyone else i would like to be cheering on the boys monday, ref bagpuss comments, the leek fans in question were about 30-40 years old, also the issue with the chairman left a bad feeling with lots of grove fans. lets give them great support saturday, hope to be back in time, nice to see all the flags out saturday again
