Their keeper probably went up for the 94th min corner and headed home the winner

A deserved win overall, but quite a strange game.

We started with 3 up front and should have had the game wrapped up at half time (how many times have we said that?!) Dave Walker scored with a great finish but him and Shots missed clear chances, and Tim should have scored but somehow fell over the ball a yard out. Brigg did have their chances, mainly as Steve spilled the ball on a number of occasions.

Brigg looked much better in the second half as Kidsgrove worried more about which substitutions to make than concentrating on the game. After pretty shambolic exchange of expletives between players and staff, Walker stayed on on Edwards replaced Shotton. The ends seemed to justify the means though as Dave scored his second of the afternoon, squeezing the ball past the keeper and off the post, and Edwards, who looked like he could be a good addition, crossed for Aiden to head in number three. Brigg got a consolation after Steve saved a free kick but the ball bounced free.

Team: Intihar, Smith, Dove, T Schwarz, D Schwarz, Sanders, Matranga, Beasley, Walker (Shenton), Haddrell, Shotton (Edwards)

A very accurate reflection of the game. Against some of the better teams we might of paid for the missed chances.
The substitution issue was a little concerning it seemed dave walker stayed on because dave walker wanted to stay on, player power? on a brighter note we got a good 80plus minutes out of him for the first time since his return from injury.
It was good to see wardy start with the big 3 up front it sent a real positive message out from the start and we could of been out of sight in the first half hour, a bit of a gamble away from home but how well it worked.

I think Wardy has had his critics in past, but praise where praise is due - how many managers would have played 3 up front away from home even if you had 3 quality strikers?
Well done Wardy! This should send a powerful message to the rest of the league that they need to worry more about us than us about them.
