Just to publicise two forthcoming events:

Friday 06 November - KAFC Fireworks Display at the Seddon Stadium.

£4/£2 - family ticket £10. Bar and refreshments available. All spectators under cover and with dry feet.

Seddon Stadium - gates open 6.30 pm fireworks lit 7.30 pm.

An important event to raise much needed funds for the club so please encourage as many people as possible to come.

Saturday 14 November - Race night at KAFC clubhouse - 7.30 onwards.

This event has been organised in order to donate all profits to Jordan White following his recent, unfortunate injury. It would be a great gesture from all at the club if we could support the evening and show Jordan how much he is valued and recognise his efforts on the pitch.

Just wish to publicise these events again! To maintain our push at the top end of the table I cannot express enough how much we need to raise the funds necessary to keep the current squad together (especially after exiting both prize cups early). Not only to keep the squad together, if we are still in a good position in January, funds permitting, the manager will probably need to add one or two experienced players, as our squad is still quite small. It is a testament to the players that we achieved club of the month in October despite playing most of the month with only 13 fit players.

Regarding the Jordan White event a week on Saturday, we are at home against Chasetown on Saturday afternoon, with Brazil v England on ITV kicking off at 5PM. Supporters will therefore be welcome to watch the England game in the clubhouse, at the end of which we can start the racenight. Hopefully we can therefore have a decent turnout for this. As the England game is on ITV hopefully it should be possible to have this on 2 or 3 screens.

One final item to do with fundraising. We have been running a 'Predict the 7s' fundraiser every week since the beginning of the season. Its £1 a go and you have to predict the outcome from 7 pre-picked games. The prize fund rolls over every week if there are no winners and this week the prize fund is £450. Tickets are available at the clubhouse right up to Saturday 2PM. This week they will be available at the committee meeting (7.30PM tonight) or at the fireworks night, or if you can catch hold of me, I've normally got some in my car.
