I dont think the current state of the team is such a problem! were getting better every week and the wage bill is gradually being trimmed, neil murphy has been released from his contract having not played all season and still getting paid. the team are donig well, all we need is a scrappy 1-0 win and our season will start, we all remember the second half of last season, super-grove! |

Lets put the record straight, 1, Supporters are the future of every club they spend there hard earned money to support there club and have a right to ask questions if there club is not performing and uncertainty constantly undermines the performance of the team. 2, When you are involved in football at what ever level you are judged on results if the team is not performing then questions will be asked and rightly so. 3,What supporters and officials should be asking themselves are Kidsgrove Athletic confident that the personnell in place the correct people to take your club forward, and have they the respect of 1,THE PLAYERS,2, THE SUPPORTERS 4, Every body has an opinion but YOU CANNOT ARGUE WITH RESULTS and a track record thats supports this. Thanks

 Mr Porter. Glasshouses and stones springs to mind. What happened to you this season at Cradley Town? Started pre-season in may with 40 odd talented youngsters, then lost every game and were sacked after 2 league games....not hugely qualified to comment, are you. Oh and allowed kidsgrove youth team to fold last season as well... :ph43r: |

the supporters are right to ask questions but as i told you if you have any questions i will do my best to get you the answers the players are trying very hard to turn it around did you read the comments of Michael Lennon in the sport when he said it was the players who have got them into this position and its only the players who can get them out in recent weeks we have had more chances in the games to have won them by halftime what some supporters don't realise Lenny is a marked man this season but give it time i'm sure the lads will turn the corner to finish strongly in the league just keep supporting them. regards sam brotherton |

Just to put the record straight and let you grove fans know a, I and my team resigned from Cradley Town due to there being no budget 4 players that was promised when i became manager. b, Lack of support to my team through the committie,ie washing kit, no training facilities on tng nights,no tng kit 4 players that was promissed. I hope this settles the issue i am not against Kidsgrove Athletic but genarally wish Kidsgrove well. The side i have moved to have a record of 2 losses in 14 games since i arrived i hope you have the same results at Kidsgrove. Thanks |

What's going on ? This is not the Kidsgrove forum of a couple of months ago. When we played and lost at your place the support was fantastic and the club seemed to be buzzing. I thought you had a half decent team and were going to be up there or there abouts so why are you all arguing amongst yourselves now ? Come on matty holmes get as many as you can to come to our place on Saturday and lets show everyone what this league has to offer on and off the pitch. A warm welcome awaits everyone from Kidsgrove on Saturday so come on and get behind your team again.

Not been on here for a few days been busy all weekend trying to find a job and failed (next stop Hanley) ... no cash to get to Colwyn Bay, however i have spread the word across school and through my football team to try and get a few extra but most importantly new faces down to the ground for the Alsager match.Gutted i can't make The Bay match as i was looking forward to it! Hope to see you all soon! We should try to organise a day out over the xmas/ new year period for one of the away matches around that time of the season... try to get as many as we can to tag along! Hit a bit of a bad patch for me to try and make it to games ect this season with it being GCSE year. Can't wait to get it all back up and running again soon! Come on let's all pull together. Where as the famous Kidsgrove never surrender attitude gone? Lennon is right about saying it is only the players that can get themselves out of it. Every manager is powerless when the match starts but it is his job to prepare them both mentally and physically for the match but Grove's players seem to be lacking passion as the do supporters! I think when the big black cloud over Kidsgrove Athletic has cleared, we will forget about all the bad things that have been said over the last few weeks. Kidsgrove til i die. |
