Nobody from the club will come and address the fans because the fact of the matter is nobody gives a s**t about eachother at the club anymore. Kidsgrove Athletic has died tonight. WELL DONE PETER WARD! I wouldn't be surprised if he gets grief for 90 mins at the next home game... i for one aren't travelling away to watch The Grove anymore until Wardy is gone. BLUE ARMY TIL I DIE! KIDSGROVE TIL I DIE! |

Bit of a new comer here as you've probably guessed! Just wondering where all the disharmony is coming from and how come there seems to be a mass exodus of the best players? |

I'll try to explain! Basically, the entire team was overhauled at the beginning of last season and some very good players came in. After a difficult start in the league, we put a good run together and only just missed out on sneaking into the play offs. The fans expected that this would be built on this season. What's happened is that over the past few weeks we've witnessed several perfomances which have appeared completely unmotivated and devoid of any effort. There are, of course, individual exceptions to this (in my opinion Lennon in particular, who shows if you're prepared to put a bit of effort in you'll get somewhere). We're now seeing a lot of the fans' favourite players out of the club. Now, there could be perfectly good reasons for this - maybe money is tight, in which case it's a regrettable but perfectly sensible decision in the long term interests of the club to let good players go. However, in the absence of any news directly from the club, the fans are getting fed up with not knowing what's going on and will naturally vent their frustrations at the manager. It's a real shame because there was a great atmosphere at the beginning of the season and that's just gone in a very short period of time. |

I think the sale of wooliscroft and rhead are both for financial reasons, sad to see them go but clubs like kidsgrove often need to draw in money this way, if we were still in the FA Cup and Trophy this may not be the case but it was always going to happen when the cash dried up! At least they havent gone to clubs at our level, i no our local rivals were having a look at matt rhead (ATFC NTFC) but could no meet the financial requirements! good luck matt! |

craftsman you you talk shite unless im mistaken or was at the wrong game kielthy and brotherton played last night as im led to believe kielthy is staying even though leek have been in for him ,and no one has come in with a official approach . and if you were there last night you will have seen wayne played up front and scored and had five assists now im not saying wayne is the answer but wayne should take a lot of credit because he shown how valuable he is to kidsgrove . i also know wardey is talking to three forwards . also lets just clear something about matt rhead you moan about wardey for having a go at rhiedy for not being clinical enough isnt this something a manager should do i dont think wardey slaughtered him in the press he just made a comment matt is a great player and if he was more clinical he would be playing a lot higher lets hope he improves this at eastwood . there is no mention on here about a great bit of businness wardey has done in bringing ashley hill to the club at very little cost so as ive said on previous posts give wardey some credit . |

I WATCHED THE GAME LAST NIGHT AND CAN CONFIRM KIELTHY AND BROTHERTON PLAYED, AND AS LIKE THE REST OF THE TEAM THEY PLAYED GREAT, BROTHERTON LOOKED AT EASE IN HIS ROLE AND I FOR ONE WOULD PLAY HIM AGAIN IN THAT POSITION, KIELTHY WAS SKILLFUL AS EVER AND COMPOSED, THE TEAM IN ONE WAS UNITED, THEY LOOKED GOOD AND SHOWED EVERONE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PULL TOGETHER |
