WHAT CAN ANYONE SAY AFTER TONIGHTS DEBARCLE ? ( I WAS THERE WITH REECE AND ALAN ).

FIRSTLY NO GOALKEEPER , WHAT A JOKE !

HOW MANY OTHER CLUBS AT THIS LEVEL OF FOOTBALL DON'T HAVE A RESERVE/SECOND KEEPER , ITS AS THOUGH WARDY THINKS KEEPERS ARE IMMUNE TO INJURY.

I FELT REALLY SORRY FOR BIG WAYNE TONIGHT , A SIMPLE CASE OF A FISH OUT OF WATER.

IF ITS TRUE AS MOST PEOPLE BELIEVE WARDY HAS LOST THE DRESSING ROOM, ASH HAS GONE , MATTY IS OBVIOUSLY NOT HAPPY PLUS MANY OTHER PLAYERS WANT OUT.

THERE IS NO PLAN B WHERE WARDY IS CONCERNED BUT THATS NOT SURPRISING AS THERES NO PLAN A.

EMBARRASING , UNINSPIRING , CLUELESS , OUTPLAYED , GUTLESS , DISORGANISED , SECOND BEST TO A TEAM 2 TIERS BELOW US AND I'VE LEFT OUT THE SWEAR WORDS.

I DON'T FEEL MY THOUGHTS ARE WITHOUT SUBSTANCE , HAVING WATCHED GROVE FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS IT WAS OBVIOUS TO ALL THAT WARDY DOES ** NOT ** HAVE THE RESPECT OF HIS PLAYERS.

WE ARE IN SERIOUS DANGER OF LOSING MORE KEY PLAYERS FROM AN ALREADY UNDERPERFORMING SIDE.

TIME TO GO WARDY !

i was giong to right a report on the game but i have nothing to put in for the last 89 minutes, having finished work early to drive 2 hours to find wayne in goals, what can i say, heard the fa being blamed, the ref, the journey, the colour of our away top, the changing rooms 30 foot from the pitch, what a joke, 1 reason we lost wardy, heard a few players were handing in their notice after game, it looked like they had done it at halftime, even with coates in goal we still would of lost, plaYERS DID NOT LOOK HAPPY,LENNON TRYED HIS HARDEST AND NEW LAD ASHLEY LOOK GOOD,FEEL SORRY FOR STAN WHO BACKED WARDY WELL AND GAVE THE LADS THE SUPPORT THEY NEEDED WHEN WARDY SHOULD, ALSO HEARD WARDY TACTICS WERE TO GO IN HT 00 OR 1 NIL DOWN THEN GET THEM LATER WHEN THEY TIRE, GREAT POSITIVE THINKING, I THINK WITH RIGHT MAN WITH MOTIVATION MOST OF THE PLAYERS IF PLAYED IN RIGHT POSITOIN COULD DO A JOB,CONSIDERING WE HAVE PLAYERS WITH A GOOD LEVEL OF EXPERIANCE WE WERE BEATEN BY A ( WITH RESPECT) A PUB TEAM, WHO WANTED TO WIN, WAYNE TRYED HIS HARDEST, NO EXCUSE FOR NOT HAVING A BACK UP GOALIE, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN 12 YEARS OF SUPPORTING GROVE I HAVE MOANED ABOUT THE CLUB , SO I KNOW ITS BAD,IF ANY OF YOU WATCHED US AT CONGLETON WHEN WE LOST THEN THIS WAS 10 TIMES WORSE;(BUT I WAS STILL POSITIVE )EVEN RAINWORTHS FANS THOUGHT WE WERE THE WORST TEAM THEY HAD SEEN, YES NO PLAN A OR B, SAYING THAT AND LOOKING BACK THEIR NEVER HAVE BEEN, OH FOR THE LATE GREAT JIMMY WALLACE DAYS,WE HAVE A GREAT GROUND AND CHAIRMAN , LETS GET SOMEONE IN WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING,( NICE CHIP SHOP NEAR THE GROUND).

The most successfully managers at Kidsgrove have been local men with very small budgets, the most UNsuccessful managers had had money to throw about.

Already mentioned was the late great Jimmy Wallace but Kidsgroves most successful Unibond pair were Buckle & Twigg. They had players like Matty (brought from Sunday league), Eyres, Jules, Kio, Jonno, Kinsey. Ok the team lacked 1 or 2 players to make a promotion push but with a fraction of the budget you are spending now, they gave you a cup victory & plenty of committment.

Already mentioned on here, the friendly defeat by Congleton. Any one noticed their management duo?

I feel sorry for us. We have been here so so many time. The sound of money & we try to kill the club. When will we learn.

Can any one tell me if Wardy is on contract, for how long & how much will it cost the club for him to go? If not, maybe the supporters need to get behind the players as more unrest won't improve preformances.

Come on the lads, turn it around for the supporters!!!

we have been being supporting all season and sang our hearts out many times, but i dont like the way the players seem to be treated, the dressing room talks have now spilled onto the terraces and that isnt good

Wardy is in contract until the end of this season, sadly that is too long.

Get Greg Clowes in from Newcastle Town...

Get some local lads in... Wardy who is he? Drives about in his BMW and is only here for the money, we shouldnt have to pay to watch the boring football that we are subject to each week.

This is what we do.

Coates to Rhead flick on to Lennon and goal. Boring.

Get some quick players in and a LEFT FOOTED player Griggs from Nantwich, sign players from lower leagues or just local football.

Nobody is questioning wether or not he cares about the club.
Did you stand and fitness the dire pre-season? and all the near shambolic matches apart from the Colwyn Bay match?

But would Wardy do it if he wasn't being paid?

So we have to pay Wardys wages until the end of the season as he is on contract. How about Alex Morris & Kio taking charge. Alex knows the coaching, ex pro etc etc. Kio has shown so much loyalty to the club(is he in his 5th or 6th season at Kidsgrove), again ex pro & highly regarded by all the players.

What do you think Matty? It maybe a solution until the end of the season as it wouldn't cost the club any more money than they are already paying out. If Alex & Kio did a good job then make it perminant!!!

I think Stan should speak to the players & ask them what they'd like to happen, who they'd respond to as manager etc, & then make a decision from that.

Well yes i agree with the Alex Morris being involved maybe player manager but we already have Steve Jones as assistant/player manger but i can't actually see what his actual role is.

If we lose on saturday the fans will not be too happy and i reckon something will be said.

We need somebody to come in and re-unite the changing room, take them somewhere where they have to be together and work as a team all day.

There is no team spirit.

Alex would be a good appointment, i remember at the charity match it was Wardy vs Morris and Alex's team won by a big margin.

Point Proven.

Anybody who was at the Colwyn Bay game last week coud not question the supporters' commitment to getting behind the team. People who are posting here with concerns are not fairweather fans, neither are they the type who criticise at the first sign of trouble. It's the guys who are there week in week out, home and away, making loads of noise and quite frankly that's what shows more than anything that something's not right.

Obviously we don't know everything that goes on behind the scenes, and I'm not denying that the situation is probably more complex than most of us know. The way I see it, Wardy's the manager, I'm sure he's aware of our frustrations, so he needs to sort it out. There's a long way to go this season so let's not write it off yet.
