Well, the code for disabling Call Waiting is generally *70...that's "star seventy" and the disabling can be done automatically from within your Dial-up connection set-up each time you log in. There is no need to reset anything afterwards. When the connection to the net is closed your phone line will automatically return to its normal mode. Instead of me trying to talk you thru this, I found these two web sites that look pretty darn thorough and simple to follow.
