GHP I would say more like 3 and ahalf years. I was here when you came on.

Either way I do agree that things have been in a slight slump well at least sence the time I got back.
I know i'm one of the ones that disapeared but then I was not a concept artist and I had some big reasons.

I think to make more people productive we need more organized assignments, like as was earlier stated homework.

Okay, it's idiotic that the topic was brought back up. If some people couldn't move on from it, sorry, but others did; no need to "open up closed wounds", seriously, it immature.

Just thought I'd say that.

Anyway, as for homework, I still vote we'd get the backgrounds done. I can work the convenience store scenes, been planning on tweeking it a bit too. I like the convenience store, but it's not Jhonen-esque, and I want to fix that. I mean, a battery store is this HUGE building just for batteries--so I think something like that, rather than the suburban feeling I gave, would be crucial.

Sorry was not trying to open wounds was just using it as a time reference point, I edited it. :-_-:

Hum that does seem more JV but then it has already been story boarded.... but then it has not been animated so it could be changed I guess but would that not just but another thing to set us off schedule.

@Sheep: I was never banned, dude. Maybe for a day or two, because of YOUR multiple accounts, so don't go there.
You were banned for even a day? I was talking about myself.

I think what we need most of all is some motivation. You could give little homework assignments or set deadlines for each group to have little things done, for example...
"Animators, have a test walk cycle of character x by November 15"
or something to that effect.
Instead of giving large tasks with no deadline, break it down. If you give background artists one specific background to do, and tell them when to send in b&w/flat color/shaded copies for revising and critiquing, then we'd slowly be getting things done.

I storyboarded that part, so it can be edited. It's in a layer, and I still have the .FL file. =3 I'd just need to edit it, but if someone can come up with an idea, that'd be great. ;v;

I like that idea, Invade. =D

I am trying to refine my animation skills as best as possible to help out with IZFAS. I have not skimped out on trying to do what I can to help out. believe me, if I was one of the voice actors I'd be recording those lines right now. I don't care about the fame or getting myself into the credits I contribute becuase I support the cause. I cannot express this enough how dedicated I am to this as a fellow fan and supporter to an awesome show. (it even shows with my 12 minute animation). I'd even do all the voice acting for everyone if I was able to. trust me, if I truly love doing something I work at it 9,000,000% (I know that's not a posible percentage) but you get what I mean.

Glad to see the dedication.
And sadly i'm not very creative, brain being quiet fried.
What about like a suck monkey shop that has a giant suck monkey on top.

Oh, I love working like that. Sadly, whenever I've seen others give deadlines (or tried it myself) it always seemed to get ignored by most people. I think we should make big posts, yes, but also work with PMs more so that people feel actually adressed.
I'll try to discuss this with the other admins.

It's too bad that most of the voice actors vanished. There are a whole bunch of people ready an willing to do the job. I've heard that they have already started working on Nubs of Doom with most of the original audio. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

...Maybe the reason why there's less participation is that the focus is a little scattered. I'M not even sure how progress is going and I've checked the site every day since I got here.

*2 hour break*

Okay! Now that I'm back from torturous work time, I'll continue to write.

I honestly think that assigning homework distracts from the main project. I think that the best way to get things done is...dare I say it...REWARD. Them kiddies love to be rewarded for hard work. So...it's like homework in the sense that they're working on the project instead of little tests and they'll be rewarded for turning it in on time. Those who don't, naturally, won't. No more of this late shtick. You either get it done or don't. You can't cut corners till the project is close to completion.
Zoheh wantz.

But anyways, I'm gonna try animating and storyboarding, and whatever I get into I'll stick with. I really wanna help somehow.
