Yeah, and both of those were special events... 'All Grown Up' was a completely different show. Same characters, arguably, but with a whole different theme and setting.

Yeah, about Nubs of Doom being finished, if you go to buzzyworld.com/zim it tells you that Nubs of Doom was set to be finished the day after the show was cancelled.

AUGH. JUST ONE FREAKIN DAY.

About the revival thing...I heard that Futurama and Family Guy were both revived after cancellation...don't take my word for it though. I'm not sure if that's true.

The thing is, although the show has increased in popularity over the years, it seems strange to revive a nearly ten-year old show. But on the other hand, there was that tenth anniversery Power Puff episode InvdrDana told us about...and ZIM's tenth anniversary is coming up next year so...I dunno.

Does anyone else think that seven hour nine hour marathon was a test of sorts? Maybe Nick trying to see how many people would watch it?

@Dana: Throughout this thread I've been defending the later episodes...but The Most Horrible Xmas ever felt...weird, ya know? But, apparently Nick was going to cancel the show BEFORE the Christmas episode, but Jhonen begged to let the crew finish it. So, I guess the crew knew it was over and just sort of put it out there. However, Membrane's screaming when he's being covered in socks is hilarious XD

I know...its sad...they should've let them at least finish Nubs of Doom. Would've made sense to show where Minimoose came from for all those who aren't obsessed with the show and have read all the unfinished episodes's scripts...

What time is it?
Well, they did make a poll on Nicktoons.com, asking how the fans would feel if: "they brought Zim back", the result? 98% said yes, 2% said no.

But I'm sure that was for re-airing the summer. Either way, Nick/Viacom kept a lot of unpublished works, like the episode of a contest between the SIR Units to see who would be best. I would like to read the script to that one, especially since it was Tak's second appearance--but Nick/Viacom has the script in their orange vault. @_@ So really, who knows.

@GIR_friend: Posting one word comments is considered spam. :83: I don't want to be the walking rule book, but just to let you know for next time.

@cosmo Yeah I personally would have LOVe to See Top of the Line ( that was what that episode was called I think ) And actually as a deicated writer I wrote my version of it here http://s3.zetaboards.com/IZFAS/topic/7333656/1/#new

My opinion on it is that with the orginal crew it will not be the same, The orginal Zim had Dark humor like with some episodes ending with Zim dieing like at the end of Hobo 13, Nick wouldn't add in what was loved so much about Zim if they made new episodes. It would probably be a bunch a raainbows and sunshine crap other then the unrelentling dark humor, destruction, and wicked awesome battle scenes that we have all come to know and love

Oh yes, I read that the "Top of the line" skript was finished but they didn't give it to the public... that really bugs me. I mean, THEY cancelled the show, why can't they give its remains to the fans to bury? ;_;

... lol at the imagery :XD:

Shoot. Now I'm really starting to get nervous.

If they bring the show back, kicking and screaming, from it's restfull grave, I don't know what I'll do. Though, like I said, I'd be compelled to watch the new, probably suckish and mummified ZIM. But I wouldn't be happy about it.

If you listen to what Jhonen Vasquez has said, he doesn't want to do it again, meaning I am scared too because that means someone else will be in charge of IZ... SCREW YOU NICKELODEON LEAVE IT ALONE, PLEAAASE!
