lol now I REALLY wish I could go. Yeh that wud be awsum :yay: From now on at every IZ related con all IZFAS members are required to wear their username :bounce: It would be fun to hang out, but weird at the same time o.o. We're in all age groups. And ur 24 o.o You want a bunch of kids followin you around?
Yes, I think once I get some things settled around here with what I need to do and all, I'll set up an IZFAS group meeting. We'll stay together at the con, groups are safer that way anyways.

Yeah, some of you are young, but as long as you have someone to guide you around you won't go getting yourselves into a load of DOOM. I might have to make permission slips for anyone under 18 though, cause I don't want any trouble if something does go wrong.

Also...I might be 24... but I'm mistaken for being 16 all the time.

We'll see out this goes then.
Usually I'm mistaken for my pa on the phone all the time :joy: And when new people come to the door they think I'm the head of the house :>:3:

Well, as long as your not embarrassed with all us kitties followin you around all day then ok. lol

I still can't gve a definite answer if I'll be able to go, but I'm more or less determined. My biggest problem isn't my parents (they know I lack common sense, but they also know I'm not stupid enough to do idiotic things away from home) or the money. It's the whole plane thing. I've never flown and the thought alone terrifies me. I'd have to have someone guide me through the whole process or I'd be a nervous wreck. And I don't like going anywhere alone. :/ So I still have a lot of thinking to do....

I'd love to meet up with someone at an airport like some of you guys want to do, but I don't know how many people live in southern Ohio and will actually be able to go. >.>

Flying in a plane isn't that bad. I flew from Delaware to California when I was around 5 o.o it wasn't bad at all. And you get free peanuts :yay:

I'm only 50% sure I'm going. My only problem is the $$$. I'm trying to gather up enough to go but I dunno if I can. I'm lazy :P

I've flown before. The 1st time it can be pretty nervous but as long as someone explains it out to you it's really very simple.

Planes aren't all that terrible. Once you've been packed into the tiny sardine-like seat for awhile, you get the gist of things and begin to relax.
Airports though. They can be confusing for a first-timer.
In such circumstance, the best you could do is ask for special assistance.

Yeah, I've been told that is isn't bad and my best friend really enjoys it. Even though she isn't into Zim really, she would since we've been wanting to have a vacation together. I'd go with her, but I doubt she'll have the money by then and her mom has a very short leash on her...

I've been to an airport once when we dropped off my dad. It's nuts. I thought I'd get lost in it. It's pretty cool when you're a kid and don't have to worry about schedules and such.

Special assistance sounds like a good idea, even if I'd feel stupid, lol. But even if I could get past the plane issue, I'd still feel better if someone was with me. I'm unfortunately a rather dependent person. :/

Me and my two besties all have a similar problem. "You are not going to Georgia alone! Your only 13(14 for one)!" But maybe if i found a relative to go. I'm very used to flying. THe thought excites me. And, u know what? Anyone live around New York City? I'm going for a weekend trip this year on April 17. I may not get to go to Invadercon, but New Yorks ok, i guess...not really.
Plus that was a ton of money...

STUPID, TEMPTING BROADWAY!!!

I'd love to come. I'll be 18 by then and I recently got a job. I've been to America quite often before (my dad used to live there for two years because of his work, me and my mom could only join him for one year because of my mom's job 'n' stuff) and I've done some journeys on my own, too. Heck, me and two friends will be traveling across half of Germany on our own next week.
I don't have no problem :evilkitty:

I heard about the con a few weeks ago. Luckily, I'm planning on visiting GA every March because of a friend of mine, so I can use that as an excuse go visit her and hang out with you guys. :evilkitty: We can maybe show off what we'll already have done by that time, it'll be awesome to hear the opinions of actual people who've worked on the actual IZ. >X3

Also, I heard it's in a hotel, so for the people who travel there, we can all stay in the same floor. Whoo, go team IZFAS!

I live a sea away from GA, but it's not that expensive if I buy it months ahead.

As for planes, I'm always nervous, but once you're you're up in the sky, it can be very calming for some reason. :D

Lol I enjoy the take off and landing for some reason xD, Only thing I get scared of is when the plane starts to tilt your way :DX: Lol

And I'll be close to that 20 age range my next year =3=. But when ever you have the word 'teen' behind a number it automatically dubs you as young >.<. But I don't mind since people think I'm 15 or 13 xD. My mom said she didn't even care >.> All she said was

Mom: " Alright go to your Zim thing...as long as you have money I don't care >.>"
Me: " Seriosuly?! By myself? In a statte I've never been to before D:???"
Mom: ".....Ah, yes? I'm not going with you, you can travel by yourself, oh and if you can't get a plane go by bus"
Me: "Bus?! But I don't want to make 10 different tops in 4 different states T_T"
Mom: " Will you stop whining before I change my mind?!"
Me: "O-okay!...Sheesh >.<"

When this month is over people will be able to make reservations for Next March 2011, :3 :evilkitty:

I hate take offs and landings, my ears ring terribly and it hurts. D|

I haven't asked mom yet, (but I'll be 19 by then) I'm waiting for a few IZFAS episodes to be up and use that as an excuse: "But mother dear, we must show off our greatness!" Besides, I'm spending a lot of money this month due to studies and whatnot, so she might think I think I'm going on a shopping spree. :XD:

That's right, we can't reserve our rooms until the end of the month or else the computer won't register it. D: It's $89 a night for a quad-group...I think it would be best if we make groups and split it either 25-25-25-25 or 50-50, if you can afford it, I sure hell can't. <XD

If we split by 4, we each have to pay 22.25 for the night--that's REALLY good.
