I know we're currently running thin on finding animators for the fan-animated series and that adding another project might be too much.... But I'm sure we can tackle this with a little elbow grease. As a amateur programmer, I think I may have to do this entirely by myself with a little help with Skoo, unless there's some spriters and programmers out there. I guess it is easier like this, too many cooks in the kitchen and whatnot... However, if you have the skills, please PM either Skoo or I. We can certainly use the help. I am currently using RPG MAKER XP and beta testing RPG MAKER VX to see which one's better. So far, XP is pretty good but warps the music... PLOT: None so far, but the game is centered on canon characters. Any fan-made ones have very small cameos. GAME STYLE: I was too lazy to actually implement the battle system so I hastily put ms paint scribbles to show what I'm planning This is one of the 4 battle systems I want for the game, the RPG element, which will mimic that of Chrono Trigger. Some maps will have this. ![]() Another battle system would be like Legend of Zelda, where you actually have to go up and hit the bad guy instead of turn based moves. Some maps will have this. ![]() There'll be a Final Fantasy Tactics system with custom characters. You have the option of doing this since some bosses fight this way. Maps usually don't have this. ![]() Finally, for the space battles, we have a side shooter system, making the total of ways to fight in this game 4. Holy shit. FEATURES: Play as Dib. Zim joins party sometimes, but you might fight against him here and there. Anyways, I'd like to hear some comments/ideas/suggestions. What would you like? I think it would make a better game if you could make your own Irkin or human. If your human youre on Dibs side and you follow his orders. If youre Irkin its the same thing with Zim. You get to build youre own tanks, and stuff if youre human and you get to build ships and modify your PAK if youre Irkin. And whatever side youre on you can earn money and expand your base and lots of awsum stuff. I know that would take a long time but it sure would be awsum. I cant really program or sprite but i can make music, sound effects, and give ideas o.o so you can call me up if you need help with any of that stuff. |

I would like this to keep to canon, though we could make many different game ideas or even create unlockable Irken/Human games once you reach certain goals or objectives. |

Oh sorry, canon means characters and storylines that are actually involved with Zim. Meaning not fan made characters. Not that I wouldn't love to do a non-canon game...but maybe that can be a separate project. |

That's actually a pretty ace idea. I do have a program script that allows you to customize the appearanceof your sprite. The battle system you're describing sounds like Final Fantasy Tactics. I was about to implement a card battling system, but I like your idea better. I'll give you the scenes of the game for you to make music too and add sound effects when I get to it.
Yeah, when we get to the end, I'll be sure to remember to add alternate endings and some hidden bosses. |

I haven't written anything IZ related in a while now, but from all the ideas I have read, I think I could type out a decent enough plot for the game if nobody has started yet, and I wouldn't mind about edits to the plot once I finish (If it's okay for me to write that is)! Oh, and I thought this might give you an idea of what I think Zim / Other Irkens should look like, forgive the crappy image but this is my first sprite. Hope that's another step towards conquest with the game! (By the way its not fat, it's just a overhead view of the character!) |

I can help Josheh with the writing too even thought I am still writing something else at the sane time it wouldn't be too much of a burden and I really like the spirte character images Josheh they would fit well in the game. |

We have the basic models of what the sprites will be. Perhaps I'll post the blank sheets for those interested to work with them or edit. As for storyline, we'll probably start with something simple as a test and keep a large plot in mind. |
