I have a few theory's as to why she didn't make it.
I'm fairly sure most of them can be boiled down to my inexperience.
In retrospect I should not have taken on the responsibility of a hatchling.
If/when I get another one, I'm going to try and make sure they're at least 12 months old.

Long story short, I nyerked up.

Mmm yeah, maybe it was the food too. Maybe hatchlings have special needs?

When they sold it to me they did say she was a very fussy eater, which should have made me say no, but I was so happy to finally get one I didn't really think.
I also think that even if she was eating, the 'pinhead' crickets I had were not pinhead enough and she wasn't able to eat them cause they were too big.
Ruling out disease and other stuff like that or, possibly, a fatal fall, it's most likely something to do with her intake (or lack of) food.

I've e-mailed a guy about an older pair which will let me get used to looking after ones which are already mostly self sufficient. Having no experience with reptiles at all, wasn't really the best idea to take on a hatchling.
The more you know I suppose.

She will not be forgotten. :) I hope the next little ones you get enjoy a long happy life, don't be too disheartened, I'm sure they'll do great, especially if they are a bit older and more self-sufficient like you mentioned.

Good luck. :)

Thanks Jennifer.
I'm glad someone's optimistic about it >.<
Hopefully this defeat will spur me to be a better keeper!

I got a lizard type thing that is a creamy colour that hangs around my bedroom wall (Its brilliant have yet to worry about sandflies or mosquitos in my room!)

My room is usually warm with a computer running alot of the time. No need to buy food as it usually wanders off and comes back haha
Cut off a limb and two more shall take its place. HEIL HYDRA!

If only it were that easy young Daniel.
It's actually what started this whole thing.
I caught a Gecko and was gonna keep it, but found out taking them from the wild is mega-illegal :-(
