Looks good, right?

Unfortunately... it was awful. The meat was undercooked in the middle, bleeding. Potatoes weren't nice and crispy - they were pale and undercooked.

WHY!???!! WHY DO I FAIL SO HARD!???!

I found a great recipe on the net for a 1.5kg roast....... it looked SO promising. :( My Mum used to make the best roast potatoes in the world. When I try to do it - they are horrible. Sigh....

I thought it was, that was the thing. I put it +10 degrees than recommended. Left it for longer than recommended and still the potatoes were not done. I guess I'll have to boil them before I put them in the oven.

As for the meat, I guess the best bet is to leave it in the oven for an hour or so longer, before the potatoes go in.

I am disappoint. :(

I left it in there for about 1hr 20 mins in total. I thought that was long enough for 1.5kg. ;___;

At least I know for next time.... if I can be bothered...

Try shallow-frying the potatoes for a similar effect.
