We have a 10 month (ish) old terrier cross just come in as family have been evicted. Very, very stressed and barky in kennels. Can anyone help? Please pm me or call 07841 106 322, if you think you can offer him a space on your lap. Thanks, Sally |

Hi Sally, I have some time tomorrow am and plan on going to the kennels to help walk needy 4-legs. I think I said before to you that I'm afraid my household is a bit busy with father in laws carers in and out, but if you feel the stressed one may cope then I could try. The last thing I want is to unsettle him further though. At the very least I'll take him for a nice long wander tomorrow if you'd like. Good luck if someone else out there is a safer pair of hands! I think his main problem is lack of company Moira, Annabelle took him up to the office today and he calmed down immediately. Although apparently he has no manners!!!! I always feel so sorry for the dogs coming directly from their homes to kennels, particularly the babies, it must be so scary for them. If they have been in the pound for 7 days it doesnt seem so bad somehow. Would be lovely if you could come and at least give him a nice walk tomorrow - thank you very much. Cx |

I wish I could help but with 3 at the moment it's a struggle. It gets a bit mad here with a hyperactive Poppy, over-sensitive Phoebe and huge, boisterous puppy (Elsa). By the time I've done a days work they're full of energy and need lots of attention! However, If one of mine goes before he finds a foster I'll take him.

Hoping this may be sorted tomorrow afternoon, if all introductions go well. Thanks for the offer Moira. I think, to be fair, someone like "big" Zak, the AmBD might do better in a busy house. I'll see what Carol thinks

Took 'little zac' out for a long walk today and he was interested in all the smells and sights. Very good when asked to pass 2 ladies walking 7 dogs between them!! He's full of beans and is a sweet boy just needing lots of attention and guidance. I do hope the meeting goes well between him and the prospective foster home.
