Administrator Posts: 3,640 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: April 8, 2009	Basically, I arrived at this because in one of the programs I watch, Poldark, George (a rich twit) is in a fuss telling Elizabeth, his wife, that the baby has rickets, and that his high born baby son shouldn't have the disease of poor people (something along those lines). Anyway, that episode was a few days ago. Today, I was looking at the newest post from Aangirfan, and was reading along until I encountered the text: "In the Gorbals many children suffered from rickets and went about barefoot.". I decided to stop and look it up so I'm on top of it. There was a lot more information to it that I found interesting. I'm really enjoying the info about vitamin D. For now, just going to post a link for reference (and quote from text).
