yass:This comes from pound at the DI forum. It is an excellent read very thought provoking. Since I want to quote pound and since pound also has quotes in his post I think I will comment in blue to distinguish my comments from pound's which I won't put in quotes.

pound: Okay. As most on here know by now Ive been really enthralled by William Bramleys 1989 book "Gods of Eden". The incredible hypothesizes put forth in his book in regards to the real reasons behind the Black death are simply fascinating. One thing is also clearly evident. An obvious pattern of devastating, earth shattering plagues that decimated millions of people dating back to the beginning of recorded human history are observed and discussed in the chapter as well. Using historical accounts though Bramley pieces together an intriguing record of oft not known eyewitness testimonies that speak of things such as "gasous clouds" and machines dispensing and or spraying strange chemical mists upon medieval villages in Europe prior to the breakout of the bubonic plague at these said locations. Here are a few excerpts:

Quote:

Not all outbreaks of bubonic plague were preceded by rodent infestation; in fact, only a minority of cases seemed to be related to an increase in the presence
of vermin. The greatest puzzle about the Black Death is how it was able to strike isolated human populations which had no contact with earlier infected areas. The epidemics also tended to end abruptly.

Quote:

To solve these puzzles, an historian would normally look to records from the Plague years to see what people were reporting. When he does so, he encounters stories so stunning and unbelievable that he is likely to reject them as the fantasies and superstitions of badly frightened minds. A great many people throughout Europe and other Plague stricken regions of the world were reporting that outbreaks of the Plague were caused by foul-smelling "mists." Those mists frequently appeared after unusually bright lights in the sky. The historian quickly discovers that "mists" and bright lights were reported far more frequently and in many more locations than were rodent infestations. The Plague years were, in fact, a period of heavy UFO activity.
What; then, were the mysterious mists?
There is another very important way in which plague germs can be transmitted: through germ weapons. The United States and the Soviet Union today have stockpiles of biological weapons containing bubonic plague and other epidemic diseases. The germs are kept alive in cannisters which spray the diseases into the air on thick, often visible, artificial mists. Anyone breathing in the mist will inhale the disease. There are enough such germ weapons today to wipe out a good portion of humanity. Reports of identical disease-inducing mists from the Plague years strongly suggest that the Black Death was caused by germ warfare.
Let us take a look at the incredible reports which lead to that conclusion.

pound: Bramley points out that during the medieval ages, most people described any anomalies they witnessed in the sky as "comets". Some reports were just that "comets" other unknown objects that were not, were usually documented as "comets" any way:

Quote:

The link between unusual aerial phenomena and the Black Death was established immediately during the first outbreaks of the Plague in Asia. As one historian tells us:

The first reports [of the Plague] came out of the East. They were confused, exaggerated, frightening, as reports from that quarter of the world so often are: descriptions of storms and earthquakes: of meteors and comets trailing noxious gases that killed trees and destroyed the fertility of the land... .2

The above passage indicates that strange flying objects were doing more than just spreading disease; they were also apparently spraying chemical or biological defoliants from the air. The above passage echoes the ancient Mesopotamian tablets which described defoliation of the landscape by ancient Custodial "gods."

Many human casualties from the Black Death may have been caused by such defoliants. The connection between aerial phenomena and plague had begun centuries before the Black Death. We saw examples in our earlier discussion of Justinian's Plague. We read from another source about a large plague that had reportedly broken out in the year 1117--almost 250 years before the Black Death. That plague was also preceded by unusual celestial phenomena:

In 1117, in January, a comet passed like a fiery army from the North towards the Orient, the moon was o'ercast blood-red in an eclipse, a year later a light appeared more brilliant than the sun. This was followed by great cold, famine, and plague, of which one-third of humanity is said to have perished.

William Bramley - The Gods of Eden

Human history is a seemingly endless succession of bloody conflicts and devastating turmoil. Yet, inexplicably, in the light of astonshing intellectual and technological advancement, Man's progress has been halted in one crucial area: he still indulges the primitive beast within and makes war upon his neighbors.

As a result of seven years of intense research, William Bramley has unconvered the sinister thread that links humanity's darkest events -- from the wars of the ancient pharaohs to the assassination of JFK. In this remarkable, shocking and absolutely compelling work, Bramley presents disturbing evidence of an alien presence on Earth -- extraterrestrial visitors who have conspired to dominate Humankind through violence and chaos since the beginning of time...a conspiracy which continues to this very day.

I thought fans of William Bramley and "Gods of Eden" would find this particular segment from the History Channels 'Ancient Alien' series quite compelling and interesting (this episode premiered 2 days ago fresh off the presses). This is the 4th segment in the playlist on Youtube, Bramley appears in a few other segments as well talking about everything from Gasous mists, to bio-chemical culling/depopulation of Europes populace, mysterious Men in black dispensing chemicals from 'scythe' like devices, UFOs emitting mists from above etc...during the Black death. Fascinating stuff here, check it out!

Yeah-the original clip with Bramley's segment was taken down. I found it though, it's actually from Ancient Aliens: "Closer encounters". Bramleys segment on the black death is split into two parts on two different videos this time, it's the only version I could find and it starts on the first video at 10:25 and continues on for the first 5 or so minutes in the next video:

Videos are 404. Not sure if this would be a replacement but I'll put it up for now because it covers the subject matter of this topic.

Oakville dirty rain/Ukraine plague

From poster at DI:

Came across a video last night from a nineties show, I believe it's called 'That's Incredible'.

A gel-like rain fell 6 times over a 20 mile square radius, animals died and people who came into contact with it got sick.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okv2VEUnkE0&feature=player_embedded

CASE DETAILS (abridged) http://www.unsolved.com/ajaxfiles/sci_the_blob.htm

The blobs rained down on Oakville six times over a three-week period. Dozens of people got sick. Several dogs and cats died after coming in contact with it. Nearly a year after Dotty Hearn's illness, she took a sample of the material she had stored in her freezer to a private research lab. Tim Davis is a microbiologist with Amtest Laboratories:

“I saw what I think was a eukaryotic cell, which is, basically, a cell that has a definable nucleus, and is found present in most animals.”

Translation: the goo was alive. But where did it come from? Sunny Barclift recounted one theory she heard:

“Someone theorized that since the navy had been conducting live bombing runs at sea, they might have blown up a school of jellyfish. And, of course, this jellyfish would have been thrown up into the air and floated 50 miles inland and, over a period of 3 weeks, fallen 6 times. I find that somewhat preposterous.”

The Air Force confirmed that practice bombing runs were being conducted over the Pacific. However, they denied any knowledge of the unknown substance or any involvement in creating or dispersing it. But some locals were not reassured.

Sunny Barclift:

“We had a significant amount of military aircraft flying over the home prior to this happening.”

Dotty Hearn:

“Every day almost, we had slow flying bombers, helicopters, all black in color, and we kind of thought maybe it might've come from them.”

Maurice Gobeil:

“They let off things in the air all the time here. There's testing done all over the place. There are a lot of places you can't go into.”

Beverly Roberts:

“Maybe we were a biological experiment of some kind, a small one, maybe just to get people a little bit sick to find out, say, if an enemy did come over here with a biological bomb or something and dropped it, maybe it was just a test run to see how, what would happen.”

Today it's impossible to say what the goo was or where it came from because all the evidence has disappeared. The Washington Department of Health says it can find no record of what happened to the samples it received.

..It reminded me of BBC's 'The Scottish Jelly Mystery'
http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/outdoors/articles/jelly/

Posted Image

Question: What is this strange jelly people are finding on grassland throughout Scotland? A BBC Radio Scotland Out of Doors listener came across some in the Pentlands and his finding has sparked quite a debate, with several people sending in their own photos of similar findings.

Suggestions include that the substance is a type of mould, an animal excretion or even 'star snot' from meteorites.

Update: August 2009. There is new scientific evidence to suggest that this mysterious matter may derive from something other than frogs. But the Out of Doors team still need your help! If you encounter any of the jelly, let them know where you've seen it and when. Email the Out of Doors team.

What do you think?

To try to solve the mystery, Out of Doors has asked some scientists to examine a 'jelly' sample.

Theories so far: Hans Sluiman, an algae expert at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, told Out of Doors listeners he is convinced the gel itself is not a plant or animal.

Dr Andy Taylor studies fungi at the Macaulay Institute in Aberdeen. He says there are fungus filaments in the slime but agrees with Hans that they're growing in the gloop rather than creating it.

DNA tests: Andy's team at the Macaulay Institute ran DNA tests on a sample, but the results were inconclusive - the sample was contaminated.

From DI poster:

I don't remember hearing anything about the Ukraine plague (black lung virus) on msm in UK.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXcPr3QzChs&feature=player_embedded

Kiev, Ukraine – Authorities in the town of Kiev, Ukraine denied any spraying of “aerosolized medication” by aircraft over the city. This after it was reported that light aircrafts were seen flying over the forest market area that sprayed a aerosol substance to fight h1n1 or swine flu.

5 Sources confirm this and the local newspapers of Kiev also received hundreds of phone calls from residents and business owners close to the area the planes were spraying the suspicious substance. Not only that but local businesses and retailers were “advised” to stay indoors during the day by the local authorities.

As if that is not enough, the government authorities also pushed the radio stations in Kiev to deny the reports. Online on forums, websites and blogs reports came in about eye witness accounts that confirms this. There was also reports of helicopters spraying aerosols over Kiev, Lviv, Ternopil and throughout Ukraine.

30th October the Ukraine president Viktor Yushchenko ordered the army or Ministry of Defense to establish mobile hostpitals to provide “essential medications” for people infected with h1n1 (swine flu).

Then just recently the entire Ukraine was put under martial law, more shocking is the statement before the serious pneumonic plague broke out “Due to the complex epidemiological situation in the western regions of Ukraine, where tens of thousands of people have become ill, thousands are in hospital, and dozens have died.”

This got me going on a double roll today.

The ancient Roman and Byzantine empires had well-developed associations, known as demes, which supported the different factions (or teams) under which competitors in certain sporting events competed; this was particularly true of chariot racing. There were initially four major factional teams of chariot racing, differentiated by the colour of the uniform in which they competed; the colours were also worn by their supporters. These were the Blues, the Reds, the Greens, and the Whites, although by the Byzantine era the only teams with any influence were the Blues and Greens. Emperor Justinian I was a supporter of the Blues.

Noting for reference.

Significantly, bubonic and pneumonic plagues were not the only infectious diseases in history to be spread on strange lethal fogs. The deadly intestinal disease, cholera, was another:

When cholera broke out on board Her Majesty’s ship Britannia in the Black Sea in 1854, several officers and men asserted positively that, immediately prior to the outbreak, a curious dark mist swept up from the sea and passed over the ship. The mist had barely cleared the vessel when the first case of disease was announced.

Blue mists were also reported in connection with the cholera outbreaks of 1832 and 1848-1849 in England.

Sightings of unusual aerial phenomena usually occurred from several minutes to a year before an outbreak of Plague. Where there was a gap between such a sighting and the arrival of the Plague, a second phenomenon was sometimes reported: The appearance of frightening humanlike figures dressed in black. Those figures were often seen on the outskirts of a town or village and their presence would signal the outbreak of an epidemic almost immediately. A summary written in 1682 tells of one such visit a century earlier:

In Brandengurg (Germany) there appeared in 1559 horrible men of whom at first fifteen and later on twelve were seen......... the others (had) fearful faces and long scythes, with which they cut at the oats, so that the swish could be heard at a great distance, but the oats remained standing........ The visit of the strange men to the oat fields was followed immediately by a severe outbreak of the Plague in Brandenburg.

Recent rash of clown sightings in America...

Was listening to Clyde Lewis's Ground Zero radio program the other night and heard him talk briefly about the origin of clowns. According to him, clowns were seen in the streets interacting with people infected with bubonic plague during the Black Death:
Quote:

In the wake of the first outbreak, Europeans learned that quarantining infected families for 40 days was effective in stopping the spread. Such a measure would not have worked if the disease were transmitted by rats which are the popular theory on how the disease was spread.

Also, the 40-day period was enough time to ensure the disease finished its incubation period. One of the difficulties in controlling the Ebola virus is that its symptoms start to appear only about five to 22 days after exposure. Therefore people who appear perfectly healthy could be carrying the lethal disease.

It may not be popular to propose this now, but 666 years ago a 40 day observation period helped stop the spread of the plague. 666 years later we watch and wait for the 22 days of incubation and hope for the best.

It is also interesting to note that 666 years ago when people were dropping like flies some of the first clowns were seen in the streets of Europe. The clowns were actually a commentary on the outrageous features that were seen on plague victims.

The clown face of course was pale, with enlarged red fat lips and exaggerated tassels or buttons that looked very much like the purple and reddish buboes on the body. The clown was a comical form of the corpse like victim that had the plague. This may be why many people associate the clown with death. That is because 666 years ago there were troupes of clowns that were being trained by the various parishes to entertain the dying and to create a way to laugh at the plague rather than worry about it.

Peter Barnes who is an acclaimed playwright and screenwriter actually penned a story called “Red Noses” which is a fictional account of a priest who trained a group of clowns that he called “God’s Zanies” and traveled through France. Although the play is ostensibly about love in the time of plague, it’s less about disease than it is about humanity’s durability and the power of acceptance and tolerance.

The origins of clowns and how the exaggerated features of death by plague were part of their visage and body 666 years ago brings forth a creepy synchronicity when we think of how people fear clowns today.

666 years after the first clowns were seen administering and entertaining plague victims, it is believed that as much as 2 percent of the adult population has a fear of clowns. Oddly it seems that the fear is increasing as clowns are being used more and more as evil entities in movies and books. Adult clown-o- phobics are unsettled by how clowns are able to engage in manic behavior, often without consequences.
