Hello FKACers! I present to you all with the lovely Sir Henry Owen. He is a very distant (and illegitimate) relative of King Henry's and is a yeoman of the guard. Henry is very loyal to King Henry and to the Tudor dynasty, he is a devout Catholic and lost his close family to the flux. Henry is a skilled jouster, he is also skilled at general horsemanship and swordsmanship as well. He has gained recognition for his skills and has won coin for his efforts, even going as far as teaching King Henry when he was younger about the manly arts. So there could be some plots there. Mostly, he keeps his opinions to himself but his stuffy attitude may ruffle a few feathers at court. So, I'm looking for friends, enemies, potential marriages and all sorts!

Rexy wants to chill with his awesome distant cousin, yo. I don't know what we could do. Perhaps they can just talk about the result of the war and how awesome they are? I need threads with Rexy that aren't just political.

First of all I have John Dudley (JDuds) who loves horseback riding, jousting, basically all manly activities, and I think he and Henry would get on well. ![]() And then I have Anne Boleyn and Isabel Leigh, who are both nieces of the Duke of Norfolk, and well, Anne Boleyn is Anne Boleyn XD, and Isabel's full of uber Catholicy goodness. ![]() So yeah. Have at thee!

Lanie - That sounds awesome to me! ![]() Would Rex be all friendly and Henry can be all stuffy and wanting them both to show some more decorum? xD Megan - Oooh maybe JDUDs and Henry can talk about how manly they are? xD Henry would not approve of Anne Bolyen. But watching his lack of approval would be hilarious to watch. xD |

They could also compare facial hair and talk about grooming and growing methods, hmmmm? JDuds loves his beard. XD I think Anne and Henry would be fun then, because she would just lash him for his disapproval. Because she's Anne. XD |

Captain of the Yeomen of the Guard

What what! Yay for the older guys! I have a ton, but where I see the most are with these two: Sir John Spencer (34) - The youngest son of the 2nd and former Earl of Wilmington comes from the old, noble Spencer family. He is Sergeant of the Guard and to put it in modern terms, the Queen's bodyguard and the chap in charge of her security, so he has her patronage. He's serious about his position at court (kinda has to be) and can almost always be found in the corridors outside the queen's apartment or in the hallways and anteroom inside of them. He is personally close to the queen mother, having served her in the same capacity as the current queen for many years. In his private life, he's a pretty good guy with a dry sense of humor, even if he's not the most expressive. A good term for him is word hard, play hard, even though his 'work' isn't work and it's not particularly difficult, just important LOL. I think he and Henry would have known each other for awhile. John is a man's man, and it seems Sir Henry is tew! Friends?!? Sir William Compton (27ish) - Comps, as we call him, is one of the King's oldest and best friends, so I am assuming he has to have known Sir Henry a LONG time. He has known King Henry pretty much since he was born and the two are very close to each other (christian names and all). For a knight, Comps is very powerful, much to the chagrin of the nobles, because even some of them have to bribe him to put matters to the king. In the King's household, his position as Groom of the Stool means that he has the closest and most intimate access to the King, being one of few people who can move in and out of the King's bedchamber at will. Yes, we call him the ho-monger for a reason. He fills the King's bed when the King wants it filled - being that the queen is preggers....yeah. Open season for Comps. Again, Friends?!? These two guys need some love, and I think they'd get on famously with Sir Henry! |

Scream ma name guys! ![]() Milly - I think she and Henry would definitely think along similar lines. Except he would be sitting there thinking "get back to the kitchen wimminz." while they're talking. But it could be hilarious. Shae! - That I do and I would definitely love to plot with either of your ladies. ![]() Wills - Omg yes! Henry would love to thread with both of them. He (secretly) doesn't really like the current Queen or her funny Italian manners, but he would keep that to himself. He would definitely know Comps, maybe he taught him to joust too? Friends for both I think!

Hey Gothy. Got one idea about Thomas Howard. Umm, sparring partners? Norfolk wants to practice his sword and shield, Henry seems perfect for it They don't need to be friends, but they don't have to be enemies either.

Yay for friends! Sir John needs man-friends. He gets stuck around women too often >.> And Comps needs more people to play with too. I can't remember how old Henry is, but Comps is older then Rexy, 27ish, but if that age frame still works, than Henry could have helped Comps become bad-ass with the fighting skeels ![]() Thread ideas: Maybe Sir John and Sir Henry can have a manly chat and comment on the jousts while they await their turn on their horses? I could start it. I don't have one yet for Comps (proly bc I've had to come up with too many thread ideas lately LOL) but I'm up for a thread if you have an idea.. |

After talking with Wills, here's an idea. How about a threesome... err, triangle... no, that doesn't sound right either. *sigh* How about Henry, John and Folky sparr together? And people can watch them if they want
