![]() Francois de Valois ![]() * I just can't wait to be King! (NOT) . HEY THERE. THE NAME IS Wills who is a charrie HO, AND I AM Immortal. I'VE BEEN ROLEPLAYING FOR ABOUT I was RPing FOREVER muhahaha AND MY OTHER CHARACTERS WOULD BE William Spencer, William Compton, Arthur Lambert, John de Vere of Linley. I FOUND FKAC AT In my dreams. OH, BY THE WAY, I READ THE RULES. WANT PROOF? THE CODE WORD IS Vlad the Impaler >.> WANT TO REACH ME? HERE'S MY IM: AIM - WilliamHSpencer I would have commissioned the writing of the account of my life to this point, but I rather find I doubt anyone would do it honest justice. I was born in Cognac in 1494 the great great grandson of Charles V, King of France. My parents were Charles de Valois, Comte of Angouleme, who died very soon after I was born, and Louise of Savoy. Salic Law favoured me from birth to rise to the throne of France upon the death of my cousin, the current King Louis XII, as the crown could not pass through any female of the line. I was a small boy when I was created Duke of Valois and named heir presumptive to the throne. Although it was not usual of the time, without father, I was raised mostly by my mother and under her control. I had what most would call more feminine contact than was advisable for a boy. My mother saw my sister and I daily, and for many of my young years my bed was in my mother's chambers. I was moved to the court of my uncle when I was but three or four, with the rest of my family, and had my own establishment set up with my tutors, governor, and other children of honor with my mother firmly at the helm. I was educated by the finest humanist minds and had an appreciation for art, music, and aesthetics from an early age. I had many good friends in my youth, mostly chosen by my mother and spent many hours playing to break up the boredom of my studies. I wrestled and played with wooden and toy swords, visited often by His Majesty, to check on the progress of his future son-in-law, cousin, and successor. As a future king, I was rather encouraged in sexual endeavors from an early age, well aware that my primary duty in life other than being anointed by God to rule France was to produce sons. I was introduced to the actual act by the older boys surrounding me and was soon encouraged to exert my masculine prowess to the delight of a family who had long been cursed with problems producing heirs. My rise to the throne was only facilitated by the failure of several other branches of my family to produce male-line sons. The male Anjou line of Louis XI was extinguished with the death of Charles IV, and the male line of Orleans as well. It was always of the utmost importance that I perform well in my marriage bed and practice was encouraged. Most would say I can be authoritative when so inclined, but I prefer hunting, tennis, and gallantry to all. I would have never chosen for myself to be King, and I would not have wished it upon myself if I were not born to it. With my close friends, I am quite informal. With others, I can be quite arrogant. I have no need to waste my time with personages who do not deserve it, and few are truly worthy. I prefer only merry company and the company of women. Many have heard the court of France of my cousin, Louis, is rather free and even licentious. This is rather true. I have explored all venues of sexuality and am quite sure that once I marry Claude, daughter of King Louis also Duchess of Brittany, I will produce many sons. I eagerly await that time, as I have been betrothed to her since I was two years old. I am exceedingly fond of dancing, and with my height, tower over all around me. My long legs are often of comment on the dance floor, and I have many eager dance partners. My most other frequent pass times are wrestling, tennis, riding, hunting, and wooing. I remain close to my family but as I grow older, I find myself more surrounded by my friends. Many would like to have my ear, but I am not to be led by the nose. I will to make my own decisions, but those near to me have considerable say in my ultimate choices as my trusted friends and advisors. I do not wish to be too long in the drab parts of politics and international relations. I prefer to play patron to artists and lover of all things beautiful. As I am in my eighteenth year, I am eager to marry and carry more and more responsibilities of the royal family. But not too much, as I really have no desire to hasten becoming king; just enough that I have the attention of the ladies and the proper airs of masculine prowess. Speaking of prowess and feats of manhood, I have seen the fighting in Italy and turn now to war with England which is on the horizon. I shall ride out toward Calais with the army, eager to see Calais belong once again to France. I hardly think to do much actual fighting, but I will make my presence known in the camps. |
