![]() Edward Spencer ![]() * I may drink too much and play too loud, hang out with a rough and rowdy crowd...I might have a reckless streak at least a country mile wide, if you're gonna run with me, it's gonna be a wild ride...But girl they need to understand just who I am, I may be a real bad boy, but baby I'm a real good man. HEY THERE. THE NAME IS Charlie, AND I AM Older than WillS >.>. I'VE BEEN ROLEPLAYING FOR ABOUT No comment... AND MY OTHER CHARACTERS WOULD BE None now. I FOUND FKAC AT WillS, master of Williams. OH, BY THE WAY, I READ THE RULES. WANT PROOF? THE CODE WORD IS AU WANT TO REACH ME? HERE'S MY IM: PM me and you shall have To their Majesties, the Admin of FKAC, I most humbly beseech thee to grant me character-ship and forthwith you shall have some information about me for your consideration, I was born long-enough ago to have had a wife and to have three children, but I suppose if I must...I was born in 1475, the second of three sons born to Lord Wilmington, destined from birth to be a man of sword. I will not bore you with things of little consequence, but I grew up as most boys do under strict rule and regimen, following around after my elder brother Henry, rest in peace, and attempting to escape our sisters. I spent my days with tutors, piling over books and history, learning as all those of noble birth do. What I was most pleased to do was to learn of horses and weaponry, and I was sent out to serve in the household of a friend of the family when I was fifteen, preparing to earn myself a place by feats of arms while my brother was set to have everything handed to him. Not that my father was ungenerous, you understand, but I was not the one doted upon. Really, not a one of us were spoiled, and we all knew our duties well. Even my brother spent time away and then was fast sent to court, to serve the King. I proved my merit in battle, and knighthood was easy enough to come by with my name and father's affiliations. I spent much time with my fellows, at drink and at games, happy enough to occupy one of my father's lesser properties. I was married at 19 to a beautiful woman who bore me two sons and a daughter: Henry, Matthew, and Rose. She died in childbirth some six years ago, and I have yet to remarry. Although I feel that I likely should and will set my eyes on some young woman who pleases me. I think I am tolerable enough, amiable too! And I do laugh. Oh, right, and this pleases women, I do look like a warrior under my very fine clothes. I suppose I should mention some important things. I've a rather large family, and prime among them my brother's family. My nephew William recently inherited Wilmington, that sounds rather comical with Wills inheriting the Lordship of Wils, but I do suppose it was also funny when it was my father that was Wilmington as he was also William. Though, it was not funny, because it was my father. There was not that much funny to do with my father, you see. Ahh poor William, I do not envy him. I was always fond of the boy, saw after him some when he first came from France. I do believe I had been elevated to my barony by then. Well, I am thirty-seven, it is hard to recall. Francis as well. Fine boys, although I do not quite agree with the trouble Francis puts his brother through. I certainly would not have done that to Henry. Then again, we were separated in different countries for some time, so that likely helped. Out of all my nieces and nephews (and there are plenty), I am closest to William now, who oddly enough seeks me for my calm counsel. I honestly think it might perhaps be because he does not have any other choice, and I can make quite the good listener. My sons reside at home while I am at court, seeing to their tutelage and behaving for their caretakers under pain of a good whipping, because I would be a careless parent if I let them wild. My daughter is a gorgeous little girl, perfect and obedient in all ways, and just smart that one. I am convinced she will never shut up, and it's most amusing, as it reminds me of her mother. Other than that, I look in after the young wife of a late friend of mine, the Baroness Hastings. I used to bring William about when I visited so that she would have someone to talk to as her husband was older than even me ( I believe). I promised the Baron that I would look out for her and their son, and I have seen to that duty since his passing some time ago. Currently, I am having my ear to the wall to hear talk of war, and I am most anxious for it. My sword for the service of His Majesty, as my sword has brought me all that I have earned in life. I tire of court, and I long for something a bit more sporting.
