She wouldn't dare dream of doing anything that could hurt them or the rest of the family - or anyone in general. Elizabeth is very sweet like her elder sister, but she is far more naive. While Jane could be a peacekeeper, Elizabeth might not even realize a situation exists. Her experience with court life is limited. She views the world through the eyes of a true romantic.
Although she is a very pretty and talented girl, Elizabeth sees her height and her overall personality as ugly and unattractive. She will often try to blend into Jane's shadow and very reluctantly enters court life as a young lady on her sister's heels. Elizabeth loves the small children of the court. Her eyes light up when she sees them. It is clear she would like to have some of her own someday.
Elizabeth is easily provoked and if someone were to get on the young Seymour's bad side, it is likely that she will not forgive them easily and will be very cold toward them until they win their way back into her good graces. Her temper is passive but also aggressive It is unlikely she will try to seek revenge on someone through manipulation or lying but if she had to take revenge for something most unforgivable, she would do it sneakly,so the person wont know till its too late. But other then that Elizabeth is a lost romantic that she learned about in poetry. Elizabeth can be kind.
- - - - - Family Members,
# John Seymour (d. 15 July 1510) # Edward Seymour, 1st Duke of Somerset (c. 1506). # Thomas Seymour, 1st Baron Seymour of Sudeley (c. 1508). # Jane Seymour (c. 1508) - - - - Overall History, Elizabeth Seymour (1511 - 1563) was one of the 9 children and the second daughter of Sir John Seymour, her sisters being Jane, Margery (who died in 1520) and Dorothy. Elizabeth married first, before the other girls. At the age of 13 she was married to Sir Anthony Oughtred, Governor of the Isle of Jersey. But he soon died and they were childless.
Her lifestyle was very comfortable. While the Seymour's were well known and rich, they were of course not the richest. Elizabeth never seemed to mind this at all. She was simply glad to having clothing on her back and food on the table. She knew she was incredibly lucky to be born into such a family as the Seymour's. Despite their families wealth, education was not spent on their daughters, So Elizabeth taught herself by reading books. The Seymour sisters were taught merely the basics, along with arts and sewing. A woman was not valued on her intelligence, but of her worth as a wife. Despite her lack of education, Elizabeth had common sense on her side and that has helped her along plenty.
She spent much of her childhood with her sister, and with her mother if she was not at court. Because she spent so much time with her older sister Jane, the two became very similar. Elizabeth was soft spoken and kind like Jane. They were raised Catholic, and many of the church's thinking's and belief's became Elizabeth's. For instance she is set on not loosing her virginity except to her husband, which happened but the Marriage came with no children.
Elizabeth became a lady in waiting when she was fifteen, and deemed ready to serve the court. And maybe even find a new husband to hopefully have children with and the husband she would have to marry, would be good to her.
- - - - - Roleplay Sample,
It was a quiet day at the household of Guise, her family home. She was sitting in her chambers, reading a book quietly, that’s all she did these days since the death of her husband and young son. She had been quite, not even talking to her younger siblings or her parents. She had gone into complete depressive mood, so she spent all her time reading.
Marie had asked the French King if she could take time off from Court and a lady in waiting to the French Queen. She was staying back home at the Guise household till she was either finished morning her husband and son or till she had some new betrothal given to her for a new husband, as she was only 21 and it was scandalise for a girl that young to be a unmarried widow.
One day Marie’s father came in with the King of France. Marie looked up and sighed ”What is it Papa?” she asked softly as she stood up and curtsied to the King of France. When she stood up straight again. The King of France and her father began to explain of the Betrothal that King James V of Scotland wanted to marry Marie. This shocked Marie as she never expected to marry a king, She always thought she marry Duke’s or Earl’s not a King. She knew the Scot’s king was catholic like her, so suppose they would get along sometimes.
