- She is an excellent listener and while she refuses to take part in gossip, she's often scandalized to hear some of the things she does.
- The innocence portrayed in her physical features is often quite helpful.
- Virtuous. Her virtue is intact and she fully expects to keep it as such until the day she is married off.
- Well schooled in the arts. She can paint and write prose though she is, by no means, the most gifted in those areas she is still quite capable.
- - - - Weaknesses,
- A daydreamer, near notorious for it. She dreams of love and fate and is always incredibly embarrassed when caught doing so.
- Naive to a fault. While she knows better than to speak out of turn, she often believes, in her own mind, a good portion of what she hears.
- Alice is ruled by her heart more often than not. She's not incredibly impulsive, but her emotions have been known to lead her astray from time to time.
- Loyalty is usually a fault of hers more often than not. While she can be swayed from a path she has been set on, it is usually her loyalty that others play against her.
- Stubborness is also a fault of hers as, more often than not, it winds up breaking her down until there is little to nothing left to fight for.
- - - - Dreams, Mostly to find love for herself. She dreams of being able to marry the man of her choice for love despite the fact that she knows she will likely be married off for profitable gain rather than anything else. She dreams of being swept off her feet by her knight in shining armor. A man brave and valiant. - - - - Fears, Only that she will be swept away in the chaos that is court. She feels herself being overwhelmed a good portion of the time despite the fact that she will throw herself wholeheartedly into the daily functions of court life. She's all too eager to please with little regard to the consequences it'll have on herself. - - - - Overall Personality, Alice is, for the most part, a daydreamer and idealist. Though she knows well enough that there are more than enough people in the world that would wish her ill, she doesn't often know well enough to pick out the good from the bad for the simple fact that she wants to believe the best in most everyone she sees. She's a sucker for pretty words and pretty faces a good portion of the time and, as pathetic as it often is to say, she seems to think that a man with the face of an angel must certainly be angelic in his own right.
She's a devout catholic, believing in her Lord and Savior above all else. She believes that any punishment she recieves is her just due at the hands of God. Her morals revolve around being the best woman of God she can possibly be and she trusts that He will see her through. This, however, does not mean that she is perfect. Usually when she makes a mistake or veres from her path, she doesn't even know it until it is too late and then there is ntohign left to do but beg forgiveness.
She's loving, kind and loyal to those who are deserving of it, but she sometimes trusts in the wrong people and throws her loyalty in with the wrong people believing their cause to be for the best until, again, she realizes too late that she made a poor judgement call. She is the type of woman who sees a wounded animal and will stop to care for it without hesitation. She's quiet and usually fairly soft spoken, chosing to listen rather than risk speaking out of turn, but one should not mistake her quiet nature for ineptitude as she is quite well schooled, it is simply her poor judgement that makes her seem inept.
[align=center] [/align]- - - - - Family Members,
Thomas Browne [Father] Mary Charlton [Mother] Sir Weston Browne [Brother] Andrew Browne [Brother] Mary Browne [Sister] Sir George Browne [Uncle] - - - - Overall History, Alice was born the in May of 1493 as the youngest daughter to Thomas Browne, High Sherrif of Kent, Thomas Browne and Mary Charlton. Three children had been born to Thomas and Mary, the youngest next to Alice having been Mary Browne who was still six years older than Alice. While giving birth to Alice, Mary died due to complications following her daughter's birth. Rather than feeling ill at ease over his daughter's birth and wife's death, Thomas Browne doted on the youngest of his children as being his wife's final blessing before her passing.
Alice was doted on by each of her siblings, growing up as a sweet, loving child who was nurtured by each of them in turn. As such, she grew to be quite sheltered from some of the more harsh aspects of court life which as both a blessing and a curse in its own respect. Her sister before her was at court as a Lady-in Waiting and took a husband before she became pregnant. Both the child and Mary perished in the birthing process.
Alice's father and High Sherrif of Kent, Thomas Browne passed away shortly after the death of his eldest daughter. Weston, her eldest brother, always insisted that it was the grief and loss of a child that gave their father such grief. In his later days, Thomas had seemed to slip into a depression that had nearly brough the rest of their house down around their ears. If it hadn't have been for her brother's strength, Alice's own spirit would have likely been brought down with it.
Alice took strength from her brothers in later years as she dealt with the grief of having lost their father. She was still only quite young when it had happened. With time and the daily workings of household chores as the only woman of the house with her eldest and younger brother, Alice slowly went on the mend once more. Only very recently was she shipped off to court, her eldest brother, now knighted, having managed to acquire a position for her as a Lady-in Waiting to the Italian Queen.
She has become known as a bit of a daydreamer, but a sweet girl nonetheless. She's passionate about the arts and understanding and compassionate towards those around her, choosing to believe the best in most everyone she meets.
