![]() F R A N C I S B R Y A N ![]() * So put your hands down my pants and I'll bet you'll feel nuts . HEY THERE. THE NAME IS M, AND I AM 20. I'VE BEEN ROLEPLAYING FOR ABOUT 8 BILLION YEARS AND MY OTHER CHARACTERS WOULD BE MARGARET PERCY AND ANNA STAFFORD. I FOUND FKAC AT THE CLICK OF A BUTTON. OH, BY THE WAY, I READ THE RULES. WANT PROOF? THE CODE WORD IS ALTERNATE UNIVERSE WANT TO REACH ME? HERE'S MY IM: CUPCAKEXCRUSADER Some men crave wealth and power. Others crave happiness. I was born to Sir Thomas Bryan, a knight for the late King Henry VII, and Margaret Bryan, a governess. The poor lady could teach other children, but she could not teach her only son how to behave himself. My grandfather, a wealthy man, held lands in Buckinghamshire and other countries, but some of those lands have passed out of our possession now, and I have little desire to retrieve them, much to my father's immense displeasure. The Bryans were wealthy enough to ensure that I received the very best tutors and education our money could afford. As a result, I am not as careless or stupid as others may perceive me. Indeed, I fancy myself to be smarter than them. While they squabble and fight over properties and family alliances, I settle on being only on whatever side the King's pleasure rests on. That changes rapidly, but I am flexible - in more than one way, you'll understand - and so it does not bother me to support a man one day and betray him the next. As long as there is gold between my fingers, wine on my lips and a woman (or women) in my bed each night, I am content. Others look down on me for this, but I could hardly care. Which of the two of us is the happiest? My family saw great potential for me as a linguist, like one of my uncles on my mother's side. I admired much of what my uncle did and what he taught me - he was more of a father to me than my own was. I traveled to Oxford as soon as my parents deemed me ready and there it was that I received my true education. I participated in jousting and hunting there, but my real love came with sailing. There are very few things more pleasing than being out on the water - though a collection of women in your bed could be one of them. For it was at Oxford that I was introduced to the pleasures that glasses of wine and the touch of a woman - or women - can bring you, and I have never sought to return to the way I once was. My father might claim I am not ambitious, but perhaps he has never seen my true ambitions as worthwhile. I aspire to bed as many women as I like, whenever I like, and to gamble and drink and live as I please. It sounds crude, yes, but you try and it tell me whether or not you are a hypocrite for lecturing me afterward. My father died soon after I came to court, and soon after I was married to Phillipa Spice. The poor thing used to cry terribly whenever I didn't come home before it grew dark, and soon I grew tired of her tears. For her sake, I attempted to be loyal, but I could not restrain myself. She gave birth to our son Edmund and then died a few weeks later; perhaps it was of a broken heart. A governess raises the boy now while I stay at court and wait on the king, a man I'd rather see enjoying himself with cards or a woman then planning to go to war. As his friend, I shall agree with what he wants agreeing on and do as he commands, however wrong it may seem. It results in my own pleasure, and in the end, that is the most important thing. |
