Elizabeth Grey The Family Girl Most important to her is family, specifically her brother the Marquess of Dorset. She has an unconditional love for him (platonic!) that she has never felt for anyone else. Despite what some would believe, she does have a weakness and it is most definitely him. That being said, she realizes that although he has the mind of a brilliant tactical General, he's street dumb when it comes to court. She, at every turn, will advance the Grey name and this will mean pushing her brother to not settle for anything less than the best. He's the solider, she's the politician. They make for a fierce competition The Courtier She is quite close to everything a woman at court should be, though she isn't perfect. Elizabeth doesn't try to be scandalous, though she does make a concerted effort to be the best and the brightest star at court. Her family connections with His Majesty don't hurt, to say the least. To quote her app: "But most importantly and above all, Elizabeth knows when to be a lady and when to dial up the charm. In any regular situation, she is the shining example of a lady. She smiles at all the right times, chimes in when it is to her benefit and laughs when appropriate." She also has a brigade of close female friends that she is known for being quite close to. Though, of all these, she is probably closest to Anne Parr. She lets few in, but Anne has secured a place in her heart. The Woman She has not, like some, made a point to sleep with a plethora of men. Elizabeth isn't that daft. She wants to be everything that a man could want in a bride - well connected, established, wealthy and of good report. Whoring herself around the court would counteract anything that she could possibly hope to achieve. She knows that her marriage will symbolize an alliance that could be do or die for the Greys and she would most likely not do something to put that in jeopardy. That being said... I have a feeling that she had one fling (the one that took her 'chasteness' shall we say?) that she didn't see coming. I'm not going to say there is love there -- because knowing Elizabeth, she wouldn't specifically try not to entangle herself in something like that. But I'm interested in having some sort of 'back story' with someone to that affect. He doesn't even have to be a 'good guy' -- I could see her, against her better judgement, finding herself attracted to someone 'un-nice.' |

Are you up for some trouble-making? We need to start some stuff with these two: intelligent, into political discussion and so on, snarky... yeah.

Charles and Elizabeth are both for their families. Elizabeth is also the kind of woman that Charles would find very beneficial, though he's already betrothed to Katherine Parr. He doesn't want to do anything to tarnish his family name and is totally devoted to his uncle. Though Charles will marry Katherine, he'll probably have his eye out for a new bride when his marriage to Katherine ends. Since she's older, he'll figure she's not long for this world. I figure he'll take quite a shine to Elizabeth. What do you think? |

Hmm... I could see Ursula and Elizabeth being good friends. They both have the prestigious familial backgrounds, love their families and excellent courtier skills. I could see them getting along very well. As for George Boleyn and Pietro Torrigiano, both are equally "un-nice" and both would be more than willing to take her chasteness. Although, I would say if you are interested in having one of them be the one to strip her of her innocence, George Boleyn would most likely be the man for the job since Pietro is relatively new to court being an Italian sculptor and whatnot. |

Tom has a match engineered. That's all I'm sayin'. I think when Barton's done, he'd be interested in her, too. |

William Carey is engaged to Mary Boleyn, but he doesn't sleep with her (proving a point b/c she's a whore) and he needs some other women in his life. He has a thing for blondes too. So ... do you see anything between these two? It doesn't necessarily have to romantic or sexual. I think he could use Elizabeth to prove to Mary what a true lady should look like. Also Elizabeth Stafford is a lady-like young woman who quite charming and likes being a bit of a tease if they could be friends some how. |

William Carey: Oh I definitely think Liz would definitely find him attractive and I don't think there's a question about whether or not she'd flirt with him. She would. As for romantical... Liz doesn't really have those kinds of feelings. And if she does, they are buried waaaaaaaaay down deep and even *I* haven't seen them yet. XD But I'm all for throwing these two together and seeing what fun they could have. Elizabeth Stafford: I have wanted to find a single lady with whom Liz could be very close to. I haven't done much poking around with your Elizabeth, but if she is smart, sarcastic, playful, daring... I think these two could get along REALLY well. XD They can also bond over getting older and not being married yet. Though Liz is currently enjoying the single life, she definitely feels her age creeping up on her in the background of everything else. Also, I think Liz would have a small bit of sympathy over Bucks' death. She's very much all about family, so she'd respect it a little bit. Not that she'd EVER say that out loud. Family always comes first. Plus, she thinks the whole HStaffs/Renna thing is RIDICULOUS. So. I think that they could bond over that as well. XD Sorry it took me a couple days to check out Liz's plot page. Hope these ideas work for you. |

WC yeah, i like the idea of them flirting. If a good event comes up, a thread would be interesting. ES I think these two might benefit each other. While both are single and like to have fun, Elizabeth actually is dying to get married. So, maybe Lady Grey would help Lady Stafford have more fun being single, and Lady Stafford could help Lady Grey start thinking about a future with marriage. And anyone who dislikes the HStaffs/Renna thing is a friend of Elizabeth's! (though she still loves her big brother, it's mainly Renna she's upset with.) |

Perfect!! I like the idea for both of them. Perhaps a thread with LizG/LizS while the men are away at war? She's going to be BORED outside her MIND. So. New friends are good. Perhaps they sit and chat about men during a walk or ride? |

This is intended to be fun and if anyone starts any shit, Elizabeth will throw down so fast you won't even see it coming. Also, no crying or moping allowed. Pets invited too. XD Invitees: Lady Catherine Dudley Lady Elizabeth Stafford Lady Mary Clairemont Lady Elizabeth Spencer Lady Lettice Kingston Mistress Isabel Leigh |
