Both Thomas and Edmund will be very happy to see some more Howards in play, chiefly Edmund's children (like Edmund's son who's supposed to marry Elena Lawley). There are other branches of the family we could explore too. If anyone's interested playing kin to the scariest duke in history and his sweeter than lolipops brother, PM me and we can look over family tree to find someone suitable and establish relations. |

Hi...I'm not a member here yet, so I can't PM you, but I would absolutely adore playing a Howard, or a member of the Boleyn branch of the family....Honestly...Tudor England is my favourite period in history, so I'm nerdily excited to have found this site, lol. You can contact me at aim unfurlingdecay or yahoo headfirst_into_oblivion, or just reply here - I'll check now and again

How about Momma Howard? Is the mother of Thomas/Edmund still alive?

EL, I'm sorry I haven't IMed you yet. RL is busy, but I will try today. Thomas/Edmund's natural mother, Elizabeth (nee Tilney) is dead (would be near 70 otherwise). Their step-mother however, Agnes (nee Tilney! cousin of Elizabeth), second wife of the 2nd Duke of Norfolk, is alive and well, and historically would be few years younger than Norfolk even. |

Agnes Howard (nee Tilney) ![]() 34 years old Dowager Duchess of Norfolk Suggested PB: Jennifer Carpenter Agnes Howard is one of the most respectable women of court, well educated, an epitome of a lady of Henry VII’s generation, as influential as a lady can be. She is a source of advice and knowledge and very pious. She is all that a noble woman should be, according to the customs, and carries her title with pride, albeit without snobbery. As the second wife of Thomas Howard, 2nd Duke of Norfolk, she is step-mother of the Duke of Norfolk and Edmund Howard, even though she’s younger than both of them. Being the Dowager Duchess, Agnes has vast lands and estates in her possession, and takes interest in the fates and manners of her many female relatives. Acting as de facto first lady of the Howard family, she tries her best to keep her relatives reputations and steer them away from scandal, although it is a heavy burden for a woman of her age. Thomas Boleyn ![]() 40 years old High Sheriff of Kent Suggested PB: Nick Dunning Thomas Howard’s brother-in-law, client, confidante and possibly closest friend. Renowned for diplomacy skill, Thomas is a shrewd, capable and ambitious man, first and foremost focused on marrying his children. George, his only son and heir, has already wed advantageously, if unhappily, to Jane Parker, one of the wealthiest heiresses in the land. He hopes to secure equally good or even better matches for his daughters, Anne and Mary, but he can’t provide them with large dowries, so he relies heavily on the Duke of Norfolk’s assistance. Elizabeth Boleyn (nee Howard) ![]() 31 years old Suggested PB: Kristin Scott Thomas Elizabeth is the wife of Thomas Boleyn, mother of Anne, George and Mary and younger sister of Thomas and Edmund Howards. She was married to Boleyn on merit of his father, and though there is no true love in their marriage, they are a reasonably happy couple. Elizabeth tries as she might to keep away from politics, being afraid of it and having a dark premonition of some disaster awaiting her family on the end of the road. She carries herself very admirably, with decorum greater than her station suggests. But in secret she loathes the fact that her youth was spent in Hever Castle, being a good wife and giving birth to children, rather than experiencing the glamorous court life. Charles Howard ![]() 18 years old Courtier Suggested PB: Milo Ventimiglia Charles is the oldest son of Joyce and Edmund Howards, older brother of Catherine Howard (now Brandon) and favourite nephew of the Duke of Norfolk. He was only recently summoned to court by his powerful uncle, and unlike his parents he is happy for it. Charles wants to take in every experience offered, not least of it the women (or men? up to his player). However, his uncle is juggling prospects for his marriage already. Elena Lawley and Katherine Parr had been both mentioned as good candidates. George Howard 18 years old Courtier Suggested PB: TBA Charles's younger brother (by less than a year) is vastly different from all the others. He is the black sheep of the Howard family, the rebel. He leaves home for the company of suspicious young men he calls friends to spend nights with. He questions orders and acts in spite of the parents, and especially the Duke of Norfolk. He's not stupid, and well educated, but despises the rules and obligations he's supposed to meet on behalf of the family. He dreams of carving a name out for himself without his relatives' assistance. Look below for complete list of Edmund Howard's children. |

I just wanted to add a list of the other siblings (according to birth order in FKAC land) and who is and isn't a Howard by blood since there was some confusion about it recently. Names with strikes through them are taken or unavailable at the present: Step Howards (They aren't a Howard by blood, but Edmund Howard raised them with Joyce. In some places, their last names are changed to Howard, but their birth father was Sir Ralph Leigh, who died while they were small): John Leigh -- 24 In real life, John was a knight and tried to sell copyholds of some manors that rightfully belonged to Ralph Leigh II. He married a woman named Margaret Saunders. Joyce Leigh -- 21 In real life, she married a man named John Stanney and they DID have children, for they were left stuff in John's will. Howards (Children of Joyce and Edmund Howard): Margaret Howard -- 20 In real life she married Thomas Arundell of Wardour Castle, who was a supporter of the Duke of Somerset after the death of Henry VIII. JDuds beheaded him for it. Mary Howard -- 19 In real life she married Edmund Trafford. Charles Howard -- 18 George Howard -- 18 (Probably an 'Irish Twin' according to FKAC's timeline. )Henry Howard -- 17 In real life he was a knight and married a woman named Anne |

I'm actually pretty interested in potentially taking Ralph Leigh II. Because I'm cool like that. Bwahaha. I'll chit chat when I have the chance to do so with someone about it. *Devious grin* |

OMG! YAY! Squeeee! Ralph Leigh! Also, I spoke with eMgan, and we agreed that John Leigh has actually changed his last name to Howard, because that way he's the oldest of "Howard" nephews, rather than younger son of Leigh's. |
