Just to clear things up: Caterina's the cousin of Maximillian Sforza, who's trying to regain the duchy of Milan, which was taken from her uncle by the French. She was married to the cousin of the previous pope. IRL Caterina was married to the nephew of the pope a few popes before the previous pope, but that didn't fit into the timeline. Conveniently, though, her ex husband was also (irl) the cousin of the previous pope. So it totally works out perfectly. Even though her dead husband Girolamo (irl) hated his cousin and vice versa. But whatever. It works ![]() For now, I'm just gonna post what has happened in each thread she's been in that has been completed. There's no collective plotline going on for her yet. I will post a more coherent Caterina-centric plot as it happens thread once a bigger plot gets going. COURT NEWS:

Relatives:
*I felt the need to explain the relations between Caterina and the two characters on here who are related to her.. thought I might as well post the family tree, as it should explain some of my more ridiculous posts about Caterina's family. |

EXCITING NEWS! I was having trouble finding reasons as to why Caterina would stay in England. But since I can't bear to lose her, I've decided that, of course her reason for being here in the first place is still somewhat valid, but not really so much anymore.. she will, as it were, be MARRYING HER CHILDREN OFF and is now searching court for marriageable children. She'd be looking to marry her kids to the kids that all the pregnant women will have on here, given that they fit her criteria. There are so damned many pregnant ladies, she's gonna take advantage of getting in REALLY early betrothals ![]() If you were there in the CBox and you suggested a match between Caterina's kids and your characters' and you still want to see this happen, please POST HERE! So then we can plot! Ottaviano might already be planned to be married off to Christina's bastard, so he's off the table. But all her other kids are up for grabs: Bianca (11), Cesare (8), Giovanni (4), Galleazzo (3), Francesco (1) Bianca's almost already at a marriageable age, so betrothing her to one of the children still in the womb might be a little awkward. Caterina might potentially be up for plotting to marry Bianca to someone else, then, when the child now in the womb comes of an age to marry, kill off Bianca's husband, if only the match proposed is more advantageous than the one Bianca will be married to already. It might be fun to plot out the death of Bianca's future husband! ![]() ALSO! Caterina will want to stomp off the war with the menfolk, when the time comes for war. Since she's searching for husbands for her children, and since I want to keep her on the site, she won't be returning to fight with Maximillian, rather she'll be fighting amongst the English men.. and if they won't let her she'll disguise herself as a man and go fight anyway. It might be interesting either way! If you wanna do some war plotting with Caterina you should post here, pm me, or start a new topic in the plotting area! I'm pretty desperate for fun things to do with Caterina, as she's the only one of my characters for whom I don't really have a completely settled storyline yet, so POST HERE, DAMNIT! I'd also really be interested to hear from people involved in the war plot whether they might let Caterina fight with them, or if she should actually dress up as a dude to go fight. |

Ottaviano might very well turn out (like IRL) to be a lazy bastard like his father, who doesn't know how to govern, so his mummy has to do everything for him. then again, this is AU. Maybe not ![]() Poor Mary

If Caterina suggested something like baby betrothals to LC or Will, they'd laugh in her face. So Caterina should do it. LC is having a girl!
