When I can't sleep and am lacking in inspiration for posts I post in random threads like this one.

I prefer to go to the movie theatre alone. I hate going with anyone.

Here's a few that are all connected!

I read approximately 650 words per minute >> That usually works out to be, if I'm actually just reading, about 100 pages per hour >> when "Breaking Dawn" came out (I USED to like Twilight. -shudder-) which is some 700+ words I read it in just over 7 hours. Starting at midnight and reading straight through all night.

I USED to read about 100 pages per hour (depending on the book, word spacing, font size, etc..) but then I stopped reading for like a week (considering I read at least once a day before that that's a long time) on vacation and all of a sudden my reading speed was really slow. It still is now, and I don't know how to fix it D:

oh, and I'm currently angry at the world, and skeptical of whether love can ever really work out for anyone, so I am watching Love Actually to cheer me up. It's my cheering up movie.
Lost in Translation used to be my second choice for cheering up movies, but it remnids me of the two people who broke my heart today, so now I hate it D:

Virtue alone is invincible.
When I was little I could read any Goosebumps book in an hour flat. I pwned so many Accelerated Reader tests.

*Huggles* A related and fun fact about me is that I can watch the same movie on end for weeks and not grow tired of it. However, my brother's girlfriend can. XD Recent movies have been Julie and Julia, the Addams Family, Addams Family Values, and Sherlock Holmes.

It has always been a dream of mine to teach overseas. Ever since I decided to be a teacher I've waffled back and forth on the idea; now, I've finally decided to do something about it. I've registered at several overseas teaching agencies and put in my resume. :)

As with most awesome people, I am under the Wikipedia curse most days.

Wikipedia curse! In case you don't know what it is :P

Today, I started reading about moles. Let's see where I end up, shall we?

Speaking of WIKI, i'm wayy too amused by the 6 degrees of separation to Hitler game on Wiki. I've never failed yet.

The best one I got was Ossification of Humerus, which took 5 clicks.

I went to a BBQ place today and I ate more meat than I've ever eaten before.
It was then I found out that when I eat that much meat I get what I like to call "meat high." I spent the entire time in the car to the apple store (in which I talked to the cutest cashier with origami tattoos <3) laughing so hard I cried and replacing street names with dirty words... or random words. Like, there's a hwy here called "Sam Eig hwy." We can't figure out how to say "Eig" so I decided it reminded me of the Danish word for "moose" (elg) and so now we call it "meece hwy" 'cause my dad and I both agree that the plural of "moose" should be meece.

How's that for a strange fact?
Also, my rambling might be due to some residual meat highness.

I like resurrecting threads from the dead. No, that wasn't a fact. That was a general statement.

I have two spleens. AND I was born 3 and a half months early. I am really a whackjob.

I will listen to Christmas music like... before Halloween if possible. And I kind of hate waiting until after Thanksgiving to put up Christmas lights. :\

My grandfather was serving in the US Air Force as a Russian Radio Interceptor and Translator and became one of the first Americans to hear Sputnik.
On that side of the family, my great-great-great(?) grandfather was a Royal Guard to German Emperor Wilhelm II. We have an original bit of artwork with stylized figures with little photos of heads pasted on them, that has his name on it (it was apparently made for him?) I may try to get a scan of it.

I can't say Sicily or thistle. Actually, when I attempt to say either of them, they sound exactly the same, except the Sicily version as a y sound on the end. And when I write in print, my Js and Ss look almost exactly alike, and there are times when I can't read my own handwriting.
