She carries herself with the same vigor and height, but she cannot hide her feelings. Her heart is on her sleeve, always. It is expected of her to be beautiful and graceful, none of which is hard for little Mary. These physical charms are expected to win the king over, and hopefully they will.
But when your sister is Anne Boleyn, you are always in fashion. There isn’t a day that doesn’t go by with Mary looking her best.

Mary is tired of being second place. Its awful to always be in her shadow and following her. For once, Mary just wants to win the King to prove to everyone that she is just as good, if not better than Anne. - - - - OVERALL PERSONALITY, Mary is a sweet and sour thing. This is how her mother likes to describe her. Mary has a sweet attitude in her innocence. Being the youngest, she has always been treated so much like a child that it is hard not for her to be. Mary likes to see things in black and white, good and bad even if the world isn’t that way. She doesn’t try to hide her feelings for others, mainly because she never knew how. Her older siblings always could just pretend but that wasn’t Mary’s style.
Being the youngest has also led Mary to be spoiled. She fights with Anne regularly, the older girl wanting what the younger has and vice versa. Tantrums were common with a young Mary, always thinking she deserved the best, which is still the case. Now she keeps the yelling and fits to her room and her mother only but the words are still there.
Mary is like an open book. Her feelings are on her sleeve and ready to be taken care of. She is fiercely loyal to those who are lucky enough for it. Family will always come first, even if it differs from her hearts wants. But with them combined, for once, Mary Just might win. Or beat Anne which is all her heart could ask for.
If Mary had a choice, she would not promised to anyone. She wants the king, no matter how much she cant be his queen. She doesn’t want the power associated with his title, but rather just have Henry. Between her want of him and her hatred of Anne, Mary had turned into something she doesn’t recognize. Yes, all of her ‘maryness’ is still there, but she has a fire in her eyes that many have never see before. She must have her want or it will be the end of Mary. Of course, Anne and Mary are family, so Mary does love her sister. But it is in an odd way. When neither can win, they plot together and bond more than one would ever think the pair could do. But its more of a family than a sister love for Mary. Yes, family does come first and that includes Anne, but because they are so close in age, it becomes a love/hate love than a straight sister love.
[align=center] [/align]- - - - - FAMILY MEMBERS, Thomas Boleyn—father
Elizabeth Boleyn—mother George Boleyn—brother Anne Boleyn—sister Catherine Howard—cousin Thomas Howard, Duke of Norfolk--Uncle - - - - OVERALL HISTORY, Mary is the youngest child of the Boleyn children. She had 3 brothers and a sister, but her two oldest brothers died as young children. Mary herself doesn’t remember her two oldest brothers, being too young to remember them. But through her brother George and Anne, Mary has gained a sense of pride in her name.
From the age of fifteen, Mary was running around court. Prior to this, she was being brought up to be a proper English woman. Her father already worked at court and her older siblings were causing trouble left and right. Her mother taught Mary the basics of being a woman. Mary could keep a house like the best of them. Of course, she could also read and knew French. None of this was like the things her brother knew but it was enough for Mary. It led her to a world of books. She read stories that let her escape the world if just for a few hours.
Thomas Boleyn brought his youngest to court to be a lady for princess Mary. This was three years ago. For that time, she has been around members of the royal family. Being so young, it was easy to see why a hansom young prince would catch her eye. Yes, Mary loves the king, but when she started to fall for him it was Prince Henry. She fell hard and fast and there was no safety from it. When Prince Arthur died and Henry became king, her uncle saw the look in her eyes and decided her love would be useful. Pushing her to win favor of the king and become his mistress was his plan. It would be easy to be in control after that.
Mary stayed at English court with her uncle Thomas Howard as her guardian. It was around the time Anne went to France with their father. Because Mary was like an open book, it didn’t seem right for her to go to France and risk corruption. She was too willing to please family that it didn’t seem smart to have her there. Instead she attended balls and parties of the English court. This is where she met the future king. At the time, Prince Henry was just a well off bachelor who everyone wanted. Of course, the minute she saw him, it was all over for Mary. With the death of Arthur and Henry’s rise to power, her uncle saw a chance for greatness. Her love would grant them the power the Howards and Boleyns so desired. But first Anne must come back and ‘help’ her sister.
Now Mary is looking for a way to gain the man she loves and not let Anne in. for we all know how cunning her sister can be, but with love and heart involve Mary wants to win.

keep your focus keep your nerve

[blockquote][blockquote] Merlin, it was so hard to be so close to Daniel and not tell him what she was feeling. Branwen wanted Daniel to know everything she had been putting off saying. It was easy to ignore a letter and to not let it seep into your heart. But that would also be lying.
Really, that is what Bran had done, ignored the letter. She didn’t want to deal with the idea of the only person she wanted so much to be lost in Azkaban. For in that place, there was no chance of getting out. At lease that what she thought. Putting feelings down in a letter and telling Daniel that she loved him was hard. Writing it down made it real, and as a sixth year, telling a man seven years older than you that you loved them didn’t sit well with people.
Daniel offered to help her find her bat. Really, that is all she wanted for the day. Not to confess loss moments missed, but to get a new bat. Having Dan help was all the better. He knew the ins and outs of playing and the equipment needed to be the best. This is what she really loved, talking about the game with someone who wasn’t family. Besides other things about Dan, this really a great part of him.
When he said her name, Bran just kind of smiled. She liked how he said her name. but quickly her smile faded. The letter, he was apologizing for the letter. Branwen reached into her pocket and felt the worn paper under her fingers. The more he talked the more Branwen wanted to cry. She had to hold back the tears from falling.
“oh.” was all she could say at first. If all Daniel wanted to just be friends then she would support that. He was with Brooke after all and Branwen couldn’t really hope that he would want more for her. Branwen turned back to the stare at the bats. For a few moments Wenny hoped to not cry or make rash decisions.
Turning back to Daniel, Branwen sighed. She wanted to confess everything. But after being told how much he just wanted to be friends that would be odd. Yes, Bran did love him and if she could she would be with him. But with everything in their lives that would be impossible. There wasn’t a lot that could be done. Unless she just confessed everything.
Confessing everything might be better in the long run. Yes, Branwen didn’t want to lose Daniel either, but if he knew how she felt then maybe things could change. Maybe she could come visit him here more. or maybe nothing would change but he would know. Isn’t that what he did with his letter, just let Branwen know? If Dan could do it, why couldn’t Wenny?
“Since we are making confessions, I have one of my own.” Branwen turned to look into Daniel’s eyes. She could do this, and she had to. Bran needed to tell Dan so she could move on. “I’m sorry I didn’t write back. I should have. I wanted to. I was scared. I value our friendship so much, so your letter didn’t change it. But,” Branwen looked around. The Bats were in the back part of the store, but she didn’t want people to hear her. Grabbing his hand, Branwen pulled Dan closer to the back.
Merlin, did she want to kiss him. Having Dan this close made it that much harder to resist the urge. “If you just want to be friends, I understand. You are with someone else and I should and will respect that. But you need to know.” Forget it, Branwen was going to go for it. Grabbing his face, Branwen leaned in to kiss him. It was all she could do. There was nothing else she could do to express it but say the words. Pulling away, Branwen looked into Daniel’s blue eyes. “I love you too.” [/blockquote][/blockquote]
