- - - - - Full Name, Allison Analise Clifford.
- - - - Title, Lady. - - - - Gender, Female. - - - - Sexuality, Homosexual. - - - - Age, Twenty one. - - - - Place at Court, Courtier/Courtesan.
- - - - - Eye Color, A shade of forest green that is suffused with glassy slivers of grey that create a metallic aesthetic.
- - - - Hair Color, A shade of dark brown that is enhanced by her natural red highlights that are brought out by the sunshine. Her hair has a natural slight wave about it.
- - - - General Look, Delicate, and fragile in appearance, Allison gives one the sense that she’s liable to just suddenly take flight into the heavens whenever it suits her fancy and whims. Her movements are light, flitting, nearly intangible and wholly languorous. Her form being supple, lean and possessing an inordinate amount of absentminded grace that comes instinctively to her. Her light eyes are large, perceptive, languid, and certainly seem to be the gateway to her beautiful soul for their ocean like depths seem to almost always be focused on something incomprehensible to those gazing upon her with a quizzical, incredulous expression. There’s a contended, disarming, and often times peculiar complacency and contentment evident in her lackadaisical, soft features, and mischievous, knowledgeable smiles. A joke, a secret that only she is allowed to be informed of seems to linger on her palate at all times, never divulged but ruminated upon nevertheless. One that seems to manifest in her animated, surprisingly lively expressions for she has a habit of mindlessly showcasing her emotions upon her face. She’s an open and yet secluded enigma and mystery, that is often embarked upon but never truly solved.
Allison walks as if she hasn’t any idea of where she’s going but is aware that it’s of great importance that she gets there. Her silhouette floats, and flounces down the hallway at an incredible pace of which is not easily disturbed, for one is under the immediate impression that she is in a sense sleepwalking. For if her current endeavor was disturbed then the instigator of such just may be lashed out upon, or alternatively, one may acquire the distinct sense that it would be unmerciful and cruel to disrupt her eerie engrossment in her ponderings. Due to this she is able to seemingly materialize out of nowhere and when one will question her on the matter she will simply shrug and offer a strange little smile in recompense. Her clothes are often light, billowy and sheer in material, and in coloration. One to dress modestly, never ostentatiously but in her own way, fashionably, she enjoys adorning her hair with ribbons, and ornate headdresses, along with select pieces of gold jewelry. When she enters a room, she seems to light it up with an ethereal, surreal element that attracts much fascination from those witnessing such. However, to her, it is not an entrance to anywhere but simply a new doorway to elsewhere. For a pensive, innocence surrounds her, as if the fallen angel hasn’t any wings to take her home, which, just may be the case.
- - - - - Loves,
Beautiful works of art. A soothing whisper. Tranquility. Flowers of any kind, and color. Anything vibrant. A leisurely afternoon. Independence. Reading. Sleeping. Dainty fashions. Confectionaries. Running her hands through silky tresses. Watching others dance. Women. Daydreaming. Sharp, captivating eyes. Genuine laughter.
- - - - Loathes, Men. Thunderstorms. Being abruptly startled. A raucous voice. Pretension. Harsh reality. Heated arguments. Obscuring the truth. Courtlife. Promiscuity. Self restraint. Expectations. Unwarranted flirtations. The sight of blood.
- - - - Strenghts, Soft spoken, mild mannered and capable of pursuing a pleasant conversation, under the appropriate circumstances, with almost anyone.
Not easily ruffled, nor thrown into a state of turmoil, Allison is one to go to if you're in need of comfort, empathy and a sense of substantial security.
Has the innate ability to appreciate the simple pleasures of life, and derives immense enjoyment and satisfaction out of something that others would view as being inconsequential and producing no effect on they whatsoever.
Light, and possessing dainty feet, she has an impressive talent, and penchant for dance.
After several years of listening to her parents incessant arguing she has developed the uncanncy ability to block out nearly anything. This comes in particular handy when engaging in a displeasing conversation.
Has a colorful, brilliant, all encompassing imagination that is able to conceive and contrive almost anything.
- - - - Weaknesses, Becomes easily enraptured in her daydreams to the point where it's become her preference to reside in them, over reality.
Stubborn, dissuaded and unyielding, she has a fierce independence about her despite her otherwise impassive nature that conflicts with the obligations general society places on a woman.
Easily flustered, and one liable to blush at inopportune moments.
Beneath her genteel, demure exterior she has quite a fervent temper that takes much strength of will and character to control. There's also the fact that many times she would prefer not to disperse it.
Tends to be largely uninterested in many aspects of the greater picture of life. She prefers to focus on the small, miniscule but nevertheless resplendent details.
When she chooses to open her eyes to the happenings around here she generally finds herself severely disappointed, and discombobulated in comparison to fantasy.
- - - - Dreams, Allison possesses a plethora of dreams, some varying in degree from unrealistic to unnervingly delusional. However, a prominent reoccuring dream is the one in which she wakes up and the entirety of the world is in a state of perpetual peace. War, common stupidity, tyranny and wrath are no longer waging and corrupting the innocence of England, and the universe at large.
To live in a small house in the countryside. Complete with horses, flourishing gardens, the wind in her hair, and the sun in her eyes.
To wake up one morning and discover the dream she was immersed in has become her life.
- - - - Fears, For not a single one of her glorious dreams to come true and thus be left unfulfilled and devastated with her life.
The thought of suicide has crossed her mind more than once and the mere musing scares her far more than the deed itself.
To love a woman that leaves her hollow, instead of whole.
To have her preferences unveiled to the public. That certainly does not correspond, nor is conducive to her pursuit of happiness, and long ranged dreams.
- - - - Overall Personality, Allison has a certain inexplicable charm about her that is not easily placed, nor even readily comprehended. There’s an inquisitive forethought in her words, and a quixotic ease in her general composure. A certain alleged naïveté present in her idealistic smiles, and the dreamy flutter of her dark lashes. However, Allison is in no way, shape nor form transparent and beneath her meek exterior is a sharp minded, astute individual who simply prefers to dwell in dreams rather than in cold, unrelenting logic. Optimism has always been the basis of her heart and mind, a defense mechanism that was subconsciously implemented in order to combat the depths of melancholy that at times threaten to overtake her. For beneath all optimism is the initial bloom of a bleak pessimism that was transformed and somewhat vanquished over the passage of time. Thus, in most matters concerning reality she is in no way naïve but rather has a certain desire, and desperation to be such. A firm believer that it’s better to be left in the dark, she yearns for the shade to be pulled over her eyes so to speak. She needs not witness the destruction, and desecration that the baleful world, lacking in sustenance and often times joy, has to truly offer her. She prefers to idle her time away in reading, and busying herself with her passions in dance, and in her paradisiacal reveries. Not one to possess a naturally animated disposition, she has few interests and subsequent pursuits in her daily life, for scant an activity and an individual alike manages to truly capture her exacting, intricate attentions. It’s not that she’s impervious, or one with an abundance of vanity, or supercilious qualities, no, it’s quite the contrary. She simply is one that perhaps in a sense has her standards for life set at an unreachable level and thus she only becomes ensnared by very eclectic things. Introspective things and people that appeal to her avant-garde inclinations, and assert her abstract, hopeful regard for life and the future.
Allison does not need to be presented with incredible, recherché displays in order to be impressed or immensely pleased, but rather is one with a keen observance that is able to profit from simple, and often times considerably useless pleasures that will become automatically endeared to her heart. Lavish luxuries and pretension has never appealed to her simplified if not unorthodox nature. Humble, almost inordinately so she’s one that is easily gratified and grateful for even the most austere of gestures. She’s soft spoken, and rarely voices her dissatisfaction, for she is one that is not at all liable to confide in others. Wary, and having her misgivings she’s able to instead find solace and a source of tranquility within herself. A talent whilst presenting her with a plethora of advantages also gives her the countenance of one who is insensate, tepid and unresponsive. In a way, she is, a certain aloof aura surrounding her as she wanders about the palace, with her head lowered bashfully, and her abysmal eyes seeing through you as if you don‘t even exist. Often times this is exactly the case for when one is so deeply ensnared and engaged in their thoughts they more often than not tend to overlook the bigger picture, and the world itself at large. It’s inhabitants mere ghosts, and fragmented, scheming shadows that leave little impact on her psyche as she breezes past airily. Despite this, when approached and grounded she is quite cordial and intelligible in her conversations, and appears very much involved in the conversation at hand.
A sense of empathy evident in her contemplative responses, and wide eyed wonder in her genuine excitement. The aforementioned will however rarely be exhibited and exemplified in the presence of a man, especially a flirtatious one. She is a bit infamous for her scathing retorts, and encompassing reservations, a flagrant distaste magnified by both her words and features that fuse together in order to properly unnerve the interested gentlemen. It’s obvious by her avoidance that she doesn’t enjoy their company and this is a fact that she is steadfast to maintain especially when it comes to hushed whispers, and proposals regarding marriage. It is one of the few times her perpetual, undisturbed, politeness manages to elude her and in turn her underlying fiery temperament will surface and replace her usual quiescence with a vengeance.
This inexorable behavior being a manifestation of her body’s assertion of her vehement rejection to the emerging reality that she’s so fiercely adverse to. For in her implicit fury there’s a certain wildly pensive look about her, and a beseeching quality to her usually placating voice. Men are a cruel, disillusioning reminder of the inevitable fate she is to someday face as all women are meant to. When one is startled out of a dream one tends to become very disgruntled, particularly when it’s a dream of bliss, and jubilance, thus when faced with the aforementioned realities she reacts in a volatile fashion, whether it be in public, but usually within the confines of her bedchambers. However, over time she has learned to become outwardly resigned, and more remote in order to avoid such precarious happenings from occurring. Her usual modesty is highly opposed and allows her a sense of reticence and to regain her usual harmoniously saccharine, amenable disposition. Commiserative and benevolent, Allison is ideal to divulge your woes to for her empathic, benign tongue allows one to feel a sense of consolation, relief and mutual understandings. There’s a soothing quality to her hushed, melodic voice and an inscrutable, perceptive twinkle in her bright eyes that reflect something deep, and significantly unspeakable within her. She’s fleeting and whimsical, sensible and yet rarely practical in her wayward innocence. This being due to the fact that she is an ever present reality that is content and strives to live within a dream.

- - - - Overall History, Allison grew up in a household that was either far too quiet, or far too loud for her liking. Each radically varying contrast obtrusively imposed upon her as she would sit within her room, gazing out the window at the endless blue sky, and the fragile white clouds that inhabited it. There was always a certain somberness that wafted through the air, a suffocating presence that never left as time seemed to waver in the uncertainty of her initial childhood. They were almost always screaming, unrepentantly, vengefully, disgustedly at one another, over things that she never could quite grasp in her innocuous youth. A hatred brimmed, and corrupted everything surrounding them as she would catch the smoldering glances they would cast upon one another in casual passing. Each resigned to a certain quarter of the house that the other, nor she was ever allowed to venture off to. Mother was quick witted, vindictive ,unabashed and had a terribly good aim when hurling various items,(she preferred the vases, and painstakingly crafted figurines father coveted) across the room in direct target of her husband. Father, on the other hand, was contemptuous, insolent, and had a fervent affair with liquor bottles and his breath often times reflected such. Then of course there were the occasions in which all was sheathed under a thick blanket of unresolved , insufferable tension that smothered all those awaiting for incensed words to be snarled, and spat, and for the usual devoutly intense arguments to predictably, appropriately commence. It was favorable over the waiting. for the waiting was dreadful, and never ending, and the former was an occasion that she had become acquainted with. Having done what was required and effortlessly adapted. Unbeknownst to the then six year old, this was not meant to last long either and very soon she would need to adjust to a new unprecedented set of circumstances and an altered lifestyle.
The Dyllone houseful was one made up of a pertinent matriarchal independence, and an untroubled efficiency. Her aunt having a pleasant, if not self assured nature that her five daughters all inherited as well. There was a certain unidentifiable, subdued gaiety in this respectable, large household that was incomparable to her previous living situation. A certain lively, vivacious animated chatter that resonated in each room, her elder cousins always in an exhilarated state of affairs over various nonsensical matters. Whether it be men, and courting, and love, or the newest dazzling fashions that they had seen on women in England that were reportedly directly sent from France. The house always smelt of fresh cut roses, and exquisite perfumes, that would filter through her nostrils as she would lay upon her bed and stare mindlessly at the ceiling or alternatively dance about the drawing room in performance for her rejoicing relatives who would hum her a tune.
Her mother’s spirits were vastly improved, and it showed in her other worldly radiance as she would lounge outside on the veranda. The separation from her father, and his lack of presence in their new existence had done her immeasurable wonders, her only displeasure seeming to shadow her features on rare, dank afternoons where the sky was sinister, and ominous, a tempest roaming about. “He killed your wonderful brothers, my beauty. He killed them, I told him, I implored him to retrieve them that night at the exact moment I sensed something malignant was occurring but to no avail. That loathsome creature never bothered to listen to me and to think he blames me for allowing them to venture fourth unto the night. They were only going to a tavern in town, I never imagined that they would be stabbed by some vile beggar. If your father had only listened… “ She would mutter in a disjointed, distant tone of voice as she would gesture with a flourish to the gardens surrounding them and sigh, brooding and staring at the sky, the liquor glass falling from her listless hands and resounding on the floor with a “clang.” Allison both detested and was fascinated by the reminiscence those afternoons caused her.
As she grew older, her cousins began to be wooed, and courted by various gentlemen, entering into the frantic state of affairs love entails. Allison however was uninterested, and found all of that blather to be drudging and nearly unbearable. Simply hearing about it caused her to sink further and further into a preoccupation with her thoughts, and fancies with a renewed zeal. The older she got the more intense such became thus by the time she was a highly attractive, blossoming eighteen year old woman that was catching many a man’s eye her aunt, and cousins, three of which by this point in time were already wed, began to actively notice the continual utter indifference that they once thought would eventually perish or at least recede. Allison’s mother was well informed of such as well, well aware of the wandering eye that her daughter would suddenly acquire when it came to a pretty woman with an immodestly bold dress passing her. Or the exhilarated way in which she would relay a conversation had between her and a neighbor’s young lady of the house. Thus, she let her daughter be, and kept such a potentially detrimental secret fondly close to her heart, never encouraging nor attempting to arrange marriages for Allison.
Emilie however was not nearly as discerning nor abiding. Possessing no qualms in inviting eligible young gentlemen over for dinners and persuading Allison to attend various parties and socials in hopes that she would be spellbound by one of the many handsome young men. However it wasn’t until Allison was twenty, still single and repulsively unresponsive to the attentions to the point where just the day before she had dauntlessly thrown a glass at a potential suitor. “Allison, sweetheart, if you insist on not finding a husband here then you must go to the court of the king in order to do so! There is many a strapping young man there and surely you will be able to find one. It has gotten to the point where I forbid you to return to this house until you have a promise to be married!” Allison had swallowed slowly, considerably pale and had whirled around to behold her mother with a stricken expression on her face. “Now darling, it will be alright, you must at least try.. You must.” She had trailed off as she instead kissed Allison’s cheeks and cupped her face with tears glistening in her grey eyes. “It will be alright, darling, just try…” She had repeated quietly, the mantra resounding in Allison’s head as she had stood on the threshold, bowing her head before walking out. Somehow, she knew that her mother was terribly incorrect in her assessment.
