And under vicious attack without relent, the warriors fighting for Cosmos started to fall one by one. The conflict that has continued for eons is now about to end in Chaos's favor. The world has been torn asunder, sinking into a vortex of disorder. As for the few surviving warriors. their fates have yet to be determined. Celebrating 20 years of the renowned franchise, Dissidia Final Fantasy brings together the largest collection of Final Fantasy characters ever in a fighting-styled game where players can choose their allegiance between good and evil"(IGN Final Fantasy Dissida) Published by: Square Enix Developed by: Square Enix Release Date: August 25, 2009 Genre: Action RPG Local Play: 2 Versus Exclusively on PlayStation Portable Release Date: August 25, 2009 MSRP: $39.99 Heros Warrior of Light- Final Fantasy Firion- Final Fantasy II Onion Knight- Final Fantasy III Cecil Harvey- Final Fantasy IV Bartz Kauser- Final Fantasy V Terra Branford- Final Fantasy VI Cloud Strife- Final Fantasy VII Squall Leonhart- Final Fantasy VIII Zidane Tribal- Final Fantasy IX Tidus- Final Fantasy X Shantotto- Final Fantasy XI Unlockable Villains Garland- Final Fantasy Emperor Mateus- Final Fantasy II Cloud of Darkness- Final Fantasy III Golbez- Final Fantasy IV Exdeath- Final Fantasy V Kefka Palazzo- Final Fantasy VI Sephiroth- Final Fantasy VII Ultimecia- Final Fantasy VIII Kuja- Final Fantasy IX Jecht- Final Fantasy X Gabranth- Final Fantasy XII Unlockable ![]() Gameplay Players will be able to customize their character's equipment. Character movement is fully functional within the three-dimensional field map. Characters are able to perform moves using the stage's enviroment, similer to KH2's reaction commands. In a battle each character start with a set BP or "Brave points" to measure their offensive power. Characters need to perform BP attacks, that steals the other character's BP, and adds to their own. Players can then use the "HP attack" to cause damage to their opponent; HP damage is equal to the player's current amount of Brave. However, once an HP attack is used, the character's own BP is reduced to 0 and then slowly recovers to its starting amount. A character whose BP total has been depleted (past 0 BP and into the negatives) is forced into "Break mode", cannot cause HP or BP damage, all attacks made against them cause critical damage, and the opponent gets all of the BP in the "Brave Pool" (a number that can be seen at the bottom of the screen) boosting their BP amount. One main feature of the combat system is the "EX Gauge", which can be filled in many ways, such as inflicting damage on opponents, taking damage from opponents, and obtaining items scattered around the field of play. Once the EX Gauge is filled, the character can enter their "EX Mode", significantly increasing their power and enabling new attacks, including the "EX Burst", an unavoidable special attack similar to the Limit Break mechanic seen in many games in the series. ![]() Videos E3 09: Cinematic Trailer E3 09: Epic Battle Trailer Exclusive US Debut Trailer Japanese Original Soundtrack Trailer TGS 2008: Trailer DKS3713: Characters Trailer Japanese Trailer 2 My Webpage Credit: Gametrailers.com, and IGN.com. |

I seriously cannot wait for this game. It was the reason I got a PSP in the first place a year ago and now it's finally near! (the links don't seem to work but I have seen trailers before) So I know how awesome it is. Shame only 2 characters are unlockable, you usually expect to have to unlock a lot more but nevertheless, still cool
