Well I remember hearing people say it was bad since the controls of it were horrible and the game told the story TOO well. In my opinion, it was really fun to play even though I did have a hard time with the controls at times. It was worth buying. What's your opinion? |

true the gameplay wasnt that great, it didnt have enough. The melee attacks were just crap. it was a great story and it didnt just end at the story mode, had loads of extras to keep you occupied and the difficulty wasnt a walk in the park, i liked that about it. i would just change the gameplay, im not a bigfan of shoooters but third person isnt too bad. i felt it needed more action kind of a style. but all in all i loved this game. it wasnt perfect but it was great. |

It was awesome. Except I wasn't very satisfied with the ending. The controls at first it was hard but I got use to it.

It was decent in my opinion. The controls were fairly easy to get the hang of and the customization was a pretty good concept. My only complaint was the store system. It was extremely hard to get all the weapons maxed out in a play through. I had to constantly get killed towards the end of a level to get enough Gil to buy the weapons I wanted. |

It was pretty hard. Potions were insanely useful throughout thee game, and I found myself cutting halfway through a level just to get more potions. |

I thought it was quite an enjoyable game. Then again, I'm on Chapter 12-2 (the last chapter), so I technically haven't beaten yet. But I must say some things about it.... The controls were annoying at times. The item scroll controls were always confusing for me. I would scroll to a potion, accidentally miss it, and try to press back over to it, and before I know it, I've used a Hi-Potion or better to heal 197 hit points. I've really gotten pissed about those things. The game was too cinematic. I mean, yeah. We love our cinematics, but there were just too many, not too mention the length of some of them. I'm glad they put in the skip feature for them this time, but when you wanna know the story, you have to be prepared for a 10 minute cutscene. Not sure if that's all or not...but I do have a question. Once you beat it, can you replay through the entire game in a harder difficulty with all your levels and weapons? |

I agree with ya completely Mark, it had way too many long cutscenses, which were cool but too much. And yeah there is a harder difficulty mode after you complete it. Oh did you get the toy gun in one of the early chapters? 4 I think it was. You need that to make the Ultimate Weapon, but of course its not necessary. |

Yeah, but do you get to carry over all your hard-earned levels and upgraded weapons? And yes, I'm up to the Gold Model Gun. Just need the 200,000 Gil to make the Ultima Weapon. |
