Of all the classrooms within Academy, Greiver felt he'd made the best of them. Designed like a modern-day 'C' styled auditorium, one would find themselves (upon entering) at the top of the class - literally. Two sets of small steps; one set off to the left of the central doors, the other set to the right; divided the classroom into nine seating sections. The lower front, being on the ground floor; the lower left and right fronts adjacent, divided by steps. The center front; as well as the left center and right center, ranked second in seating. They stood a little over two feet above the lower front rows. Two feet above the center row stood the rear rows. Also boasting a center, left and right section. Seating was fairly simple here. Each section had two things in common: A single long bench seat, and single long table. In the center, on the ground floor; there sat Head Instructor Greiver's table and chair. Greiver was unlike most of the other Instructors of the time, for he used certain... things, that other Instructors would find absurd. For one, on the front wall was a large flat slab of slate, on which one could mark up pretty much anything, provided they had a piece of chalk. The other thing he liked to use (although it remained exclusively to Greiver's class, since this was the only room that could effectively make use of the contraption) was what was described to him by an old friend as an "over head projector." The way it worked was simple, although the contraption itself was quite complex. At the far rear of the class, in a little alcove, there was a boxy-like thing. It appeared to be made of a single large stone, chiseled and carved into shape. The top of this stone however was left open, and it's inards hollow. However, a highly reflective lining was inside this hollow thing, which Greiver once guessed to be polished silver. Now, as he was instructed, if he ever were to use the thing, he must first draw the image, or write the words, onto a sheet of glass. This glass sheet was then to be placed atop this boxy thing, and a torch inserted in it's side. Finally, he must take and angle the reflective sheet of what Greiver had also assumed to be polisghed silver properly, and the image would be projected onto the slab of slate at the front of the class. The final oddity of the classroom was the fact that the entire ceiling was made of a single sheet of perfect, polished silver, although engraved in the ceiling were designs that would leave the head in a dizzy if looked at for too long; as well, the walls had been built with imbedded silver. These additions were to make the room appear brighter, without the need for so many torches. Amasingly though, the room was not blindingly bright, and remained at a comfortable level of lighting. Such concepts had been dreamed up by Dean - an old friend of Greiver's, now deceased. The room had only one window, off on the right side of the room. The window was usually left covered by a large curtain, and so the room was typically lit by torches. But, with the room having been built the way it was, there were actually very few torches in the room. Today, however, the window was uncovered and open, allowing a gentle morning breeze to fill the so far empty chamber. Only too soon would students enter the clcassroom chamber, and a new year of classes would begin. Unlatching the door, Greiver stepped inside this silver hall of learning, then turned and left for a time, leaving the door open for students to enter and become aquainted while he was gone. |

I rushed into the room, thinking I was late. The look of the room made me feel like I was in a different time, I took a moment to notice the ceiling and large black board thing at the front of the room. The room looked very large, though it was not overly huge. There was a weird smell of mouldish must and an under tone that I was not familiar with. I was quite happy that there wasn't anyone else in the room, I must have looked like an imbicile standing there gawking at the room. Slowly I started to walk into the room, still amazed with my reflection in the ceiling. 'how did they get something that big up that high without it being smaller then put together?' I couldn't help but thinking as it seemed to be seamless. I turned around to see if there was anything at the back of the room, and of course there was. I walked to the stone box thingy and began to examine it while I awaited other students, and the teacher, to arive. |

Stepping into the class, The Sun-Eyed Set's attention was immediately drawn to all the changes this room had undergone since the last school year. It was simply amasing! Set turned her head way up, and spun around several times taking it all in. "So many new things! And so clean! Wow! Head instructor Greiver must really like his job!" Set thought, as the last time she'd been in this room, it was a dark musty dank pit of unpleasentness - even if that was two years ago. Last year, Set had been sent to this room for something or other, and one of the other instructors whom Set didn't even know the name of was in here... "wooow..." The seating arrangement was amasing, and so was the ceiling. "Who ever thought of all this?" It was so shiny, and so detailed, but the weird thing was, it actually went with the room. Same with that massive slab of... black stuff, that was on the wall. It was impressive, spanning several feet in all directions (being up, down, left and right - not forward and back) and oh the walls! The Sun-Eyed Set was beginning to fall in love with the room. Not seriously though, it was just so amasing - and different! - from the other classrooms. Set hadn't noticed the "overhead projector" yet. The Sun-Eyed Set drifted dreamily in her thin boots over to a seat, which was a bench seat, and sat down, tucking her low-cut skirt (which was a very faded, sea-wave pattered blue) in under her butt. Set looked out a window, and felt her pale blue (but not as pale as her skirt) skinny-shirt scrunching up under her breasts. Tugging down on it so it'd stop scrunching, a thin chain necklace, and so many beaded bracelets on her left arm that they went almost half way to her elbow jangled and moved while she did so. Several daggers were strapped to the three thin leather belts which hung haphazardly around her waist, and Set had a leather strap bracer on her right wrist too, which bore the image of a turtle on it's front - mouth open and flippers flipped, looking up and behind it's shell. Dropping her hands onto the desk - table - thing, Set thumped her fingers quickly, and then she finally realised that there was someone else in the room. Set turned her head as she rose, and walked over to the girl. Set pushed her hair back as she said "Hi. I'm Set."; and she offered her right hand to shake. It seemed friendly enough, but Set really wasn't good with introductions like this. |

I turned quickly after being startled from my investigation of the box thing, I still could not figure out what it was, by a tall and beautiful girl, well atleast, she was tall to me. I felt very jumpy for some reason and noticing I had reached for my blade when interupted I gave my head a good shake and relaxed before replying. "Hi Set, you startled me, I'm Thist" I took her hand and asked, "when did you get here I didn't notice you coming in? Too busy studying this... thing... I guess, you ever seen anything like it?" I turned toward the box, away from Set, to hide my embarassment. 'Shit I'm rambling again' I thought mentally slapping myself from talking. I hated rambling, I knew that people hated it and I myself thought it was annoying... still, I didn't know why I did it. I didn't like the silence I guess... Silence allows the mind to slip into thoughts that if one could help, one would sooner block out. I remembered this from an old man who took me in for a short period somewhere between killing my uncle and coming to this school, but most of that part was a blurred memory to me. 'There they are. The thoughts I dread.' Not wanting Set to have a moment to notice something was wrong I quickly began talking again. "So..." I said in a slightly squeaky voice, I coughed it back to normal but there was no doubt from the look on her face that Set had noticed. Quickly I added "are you new here too or?" |

Drestia walks calmly into Greiver's classroom, more confident after having been in Aldaras' class. Greiver's class is vastly different from his, more advanced and reaffirms her belief that Greiver is older than anyone she had met. There were many strange things in the class but Drestia knew she couldn't figure them out, so looked away. They did make his classroom look more serious. Greiver did not appear to be in the room. The only occupants were two girls standing not too far from the exit. They were talking and a few words drifted over. Drestia recognized the red head but didn't recognize the tiny girl. Shaking her head, she continues further into the room, picking a seat and sitting. She closes her eyes and rests her head in her hands. Tiredness washed over her and her nervousness returned. Her deep purple tunic and black pants make her feel better though, making her feel comfortable and like herself. The weapons at her hips were also a comfort She opened her eyes again. I wonder if it will be hard to concentrate in Greiver's class? I hope not... Drestia thought. Drestia looked at the black rose between her fingers. She fought to quell the urge to crush it. There were no thorns on it and it was a very deep balck. It was in full bloom and was quite large. Well, at least I know I'm not late. Hmph, I guess I haven't done a good job mingling as of yet. Should I even try? Wrapped in her tired and slightly troubled thoughts, she sat staring at the front of the class with her head still in her hands, waiting for Griever to arrive. |

Drizzt astily walked throught the doors. Once noticing the teachers absent he took more of a calm walk into the class. He noticed that Drestia just walked in and noticed that Thist and Set where having a conversation. So he delibratly walk up to a seat well behind the class where it seemed dark. Then Drizzt started to day dream. He dreamt about is lessons with Nalfein, ho the fun he and Drizzt had together. Then the death of his brother came to Drizzt's mind and he discarded the thought as fast as it came and then he came out of is day dream then and looked around he class. Thist and Set where discusing. He looked at Set, her face was so vivid with beauty. She a was a marvelous looking girl. But Thist she was short, with blonde hair. She was good looking also. Drizzt couldn’t compare her with Set but, Drizzt didn’t really care for the way they looked, well maybe a little. But he generaly went for the way there personality and there better judgement acted towards people and there environment. What Drizzt likes in a girl is spirit, respect and some strength in her. Then he looked at Drestia. she seemed like a good person, she seemed like she had a lot of fight in her. It even scared him. Drizzt doesn’t know what she’s good at right now, but he will. And he knew by looking at here and her weapons strapped to her waist that she must have some profound skill with the choices of weapons she holds. Drizzt knew that she could kick is ass anytime she chose to, He looked forward to find out someday. He hoped that there was more students to come. And he hoped that the teahcer won’t be too mad of is lateregistration for his class. Then he asked himself where is the teacher. Then noticing that he was the only male in the class he chuckled, making sure no one heard is short burst of laughter, then he just contented himself by looking around the class admiring the views that it offered. OOC: Hey greiver how did you make you're own banner or whatever you want to call it... i don't know what it is but i hope you know what i'm talking about |

I stopped in my tracks, stunned at the pure complexity of the room. The rest of the academy seemed plain and boring by comparison. The room was alot bigger than Alan's had been. This room actually looked like a place for learning. It seemed kinda like the boring type of learning, though. I got an impression of professionalism and importance. I didn't really know what to expect, so I walked further in. There weren't very many people in the room. It was a nice relief, compared to Alan's cramped, cluttery room. I was able to walk around without getting a wiff of someone else. The air seemed clean. It was nice and thin... Preferable for a comfortable experience. There were only three girls in the room. Two of them, including one I had breifly encountered earlier, were talking farther away. Closer by, stood Drestia. I smiled to myself, realizing my chance to finally meet her for real. I started to walk over to her when I noticed a fourth student, up in one of the corners. It was the boy who had summoned the panther. I hesitated. I would have liked to meet him to, but I decided to stay on course, letting my coc-legs lead the way. There would be plenty of time in the future to get to know everybody. When I reached my destination, I took up a casual pose, and jabbed through the air with my thumb toward the other two girls. "What co you think they're talking about?" I knew it was a bad first line, but first impressions were way overrated for those you intended to talk to a lot. It wasn't like I was trying to pick her up or anything. I tried to convince myself as I waited for her response. |

Loki walked into the classroom, it hadn't been hard to locate, presumably due to the fact that one vast hallway led to everywhere in the academy. At first inspection the room looked very cold and un-welcoming, and on second inspection it looked exactly the same. The room had some kind of slate attached to the wall, which indeed triggered Loki's curiosity. "Why would someone have a slate attached to the wall?" he thought, "Oh well." Loki noticed there was five other people in the room, three females and two males. The female who he knew to be as Drestia was sitting on a bench with her back to him, Von appeared to be trying to engage in conversation with her, in a corner the other male whom Loki didn't know looked like he was trying to make himself unseen. The remaining two females were in an other area, one was the girl Thist whom he had met at the training center earlier and the other was a girl he had never seen before. She had fiery red hair and was quite beautiful, "But in the end," he thought," just another person, just another soul to do better in life, to achieve something more, or perhaps just be an ass, or not, who knows? Because I don't." In thinking this he sat down at the back of the class and shut his eye's,"Was it too much," he thought "to know what everyone is thinking, what drives them, and why, whom they love and whom they hate, is it too much to ask for great knowledge. Of course it is, the world isn't fair and all people are just pawn's in a greater game of evil." |

Drizzt was watching as some of the students where discussing between each other, some just sitting quietly like him. And then two students enterted the class afterwards. It was Von then Loki. Now he wasn't the only male in the class room. He looked as Von went to drestia and he said something. Then Loki walked to the back of the class and sat down not to far from Drizzt. Then he looked as he closed his eyes. Drizzt thought that he was probably thinking about something. So he didn't want to disturb him what's so ever. And he just sat there in the shadows of the corner of the class. If somoene would of looked to the back of the class all they would of seen would be a shadowly form with two purple eyes looking around. |

"Me?" asked the Sun-Eyed Set of Thist "Oh no, I've been here for years! Although I've never seen anything like this before!" motioning to the rest of the class, in it's magnificence. The at the "over head projector". It was a strange device alright. Set would love to see it in use. Other students were tricking in - Set had seen most of them before in Aldaras' class. The short colourful curvatious one - the one who had most of the boys' interest flaring (Drestia) walked in and immediately sat down and dropped her head into her hands. Must have been having a bad morning... Then there was Drizzt - the one with the ability to make a something with a strange name appear, that also had a gender identification crisis impending. The quiet surly one with the scar over his eye was Von, but this new face Set didn't know yet. This was, of course, Loki. Loki wore a green trenchcoat with a hood, which was cut in a loden style (not that Set knew the difference in cuts - so long as it looked nice, she'd wear it.); a black scarf, a pair of skin slacks, and boots. Loki himself though, now that was something note-worthy! Loki stood 6"8! He was a mountain of a man compared to The Sun-Eyed Set, and his hair was long and blonde - and shaggy like a mountin-man's would be. From the angle Set stood with Thist at, he looked a bit pale. Well, not a bit. He looked pale. Pale, and for a brief moment, not depressive. That was when Set had first noticed him, and him her. Then Loki'd gotten all depressive and turned away with a depressed face on. Set turned back to Thist, and asked her about her opinon on Loki. "Hey, look over my shoulder, at the tall guy in the green. What do you make of him? Tall huh?" As The Sun-Eyed Set spoke though, she noticed Von talking to Drestia, and looking towards her and Thist. Slight motions suggested that maybe they were talking about her and Thist, but... hard to tell. Set didn't mind, so long as it wasn't anything bad. "Relax!" Set whispered to a nervous looking Thist (still) "It's ok. No one's going to jump out and jump you here. Unless you'd like that." Set added with a wide smile and a light laugh - purely innocent. |

With her head still in her hands and her eyes still at the front, she heard the sounds of more people coming into the classroom. She doesn't bother to look around but she hears a slight rustling behind her. "What do you think they're talking about?" To her surprise, it was the brunette boy that she had sat beside in Aldaras' classroom. He was standing sort of... cocky and then he stabbed the air towards the girls who were talking at the back. She smiles openly and her eyes twinkle with amusement. Brilliant first line, I love it... well, at least it's different, Drestia smiles as she thinks this. As she is trying to think of something appropriate to say, Loki walks in. Seen together, the blonde girl looks like a toddler. He goes and sits down and Drestia turns back to the boy who was talking to her. "Probably about Loki. Or maybe their hair. Don't look much like the fighting types, do they?" Drestia says, wondering if she sounds hypocritical since she is a girl in a military academy. At least I have muscles, they look a little too slight to be good against a large opponent. Drestia watches his face carefully, gaging his reaction to her comment. She galnces at the two girls and sees the redhead looking at her. She curbs the urge to wink at her but she rolls her eyes in amusement. |

Drestia turned to face me, and was soon smiling broadly. Her attention turned toward the doorway. I looked over and instantly recognized Loki. He sat down a small distance away. I turned my attention back to Drestia. She had returned the favor. "Probably about Loki. Or maybe their hair. Don't look much like the fighting types, do they?" This statement was too true. As I took another look at the two girls chattering away, I noticed that they were both relatively small. One was infact down right puny. Then it came to me. I had seen her before... in the courtyard. After the fight. My thoughts drifted to otoko, who had seemed to get along so famously with her. I looked to the doors again, half expecting to see her walk through them. I realized that I had not yet answered Drestia's question. "Loki is quite the person to talk about, isn't he." The second guess Drestia had offreed seemed much more likely. They seemed like the little girls I used to see in the city. Well, atleast they seemed like the few who were able to smile and giggle and spread gossip all day. The one's with rich parents who only came down to the schlum filled streets to poke fun or throw food at the poor kids. The two girls talking weren't those kids though. They were completely different people. ...Atleast I hoped... "They truly don't look like fighters," I remarked, with a slightly raised eyebrow. I felt my scar stretch a bit as I turned back to face Drestia. Her appearence was truly captivating. She looked so professional... something i found amazing given her wildly exotic features. She seemed like someone who had spent their entire life in the jungle, roughing it every step of the way. She didn't have dirt encrusted hands, nor did they seem callused, so I figured that part of her life to be over... provided it had ever existed. I searched the collosal room one last time for any signs of someone who could possibly be a teacher. My search went in vane. |

Tired of his long and boring search through the halls, Koios decided to go to class. It would help if he would have found his dorm, since he was still armed and still slightly dirty from his tumble on his way to the academy. He figured he'd be a bit early, but that might give him some time to ask about the location of his room. Coming up to the door with a paper that he remembered scribbling his name on, he took a deep breath and tried to pat the last of the dirt off. Discretely opening the door, he glanced around at some of the other students who had also seemingly arrived early. Two of the girls seemed to be talking amongst themselves. Another two people, a guy and a girl, were also talking. Two other figures were also in the room, not making much of a social contribution. 'Maybe I should just sit down until the teacher arrives. Wouldn't want to make a bad first impression on these other students just yet.' Koios thought to himself. He followed his own advice and took a seat somewhere secluded. His eyes then started to wander around the room, taking in just how strange it looked. Then it all suddenly came to him. He wasn't used to being in large buildings. He spent most of the last two years crammed inside poorly made tents. Then before that a tired little farm house. This sudden realization overwhelmed him. He stood up and took off his quarterstaff and cloak, tucked it behind the bench seat, and started walking around, holding onto the handles of his two swords with his left hand. Edited line: "He stood up and took off his quarterstaff and cloak, slung it on the back of his chair and started walking around, holding onto the handles of his two swords with his left hand." to how it currently stands. |

I finally relaxed when I'd heard Set's last comment, 'wow, a laugh,' I hadn't laughed in years. I noticed Set looking at Von and the other girl and them looking at us. I was a little confused but looked back at Set. I decided to have a little fun and with a wink I replied. "Maybe I would like that" Of course I was not able to keep a straight face and I burst with laughter. "I'm gonna go grab a seat, but, you've been here longer, any suggestions on where to sit in one of Greiver's classes? Does he spit alot so I might want to sit in the back, or is he really quiet, and unsightly features that I might want to sit on the opposite side of so I don't have to look at it?" |

"See for yourself." he said, leaning in the entranceway and having been listening to Thist's last few comments. Pushing off his shoulder, Greiver stepped into his classroom, cutting between the two students having a running commentary on him. He carried several panes of glass, and various scrolls, sheets; and books. "If I may?" he pardoned himself, and stepped down the steps down the right side of the room. Dropping the books, the sheets and scrools on his desk, he called out "Good morning, class. Please, be seated if you are not already." Greiver wore his cloak, as always (black with silver trim and detailing, a silver rose clasp at his throat) overtop a silky black shirt (which had a silver crest worked in over the heart, and silver trim around the french cuffs, center and collar) black pants with a single silver stripe which ran down the side of each leg; a black leather belt with a worked buckle, blackened (although origonally soft grey) soft leather boots. Azurewrath at his side, Greiver stepped up quickly to the back of the room (up the center steps this time). He leaned the several glass panes he carried between the overhead and the wall, and on his way down, looked over the gathered students, most of whom were seating thmselves. Beginning a role call, Greiver pulled from his pocket a list, and read:
"Hrm" he thought "Best get that over with." Calling out each name as listed, Greiver opted out on the formalities. By now, he was most the way down the steps again. "Before we begin, I've got to get through some formalities." Stepping off the last step, he walked a couple paces over to his desk, and sat down in a high-back chair with dyed black leather padding on the seat and the back of the chair. "First" he continued "We've got to get through the role call." Greiver didn't appreciate the formalities set in place by the powers that be within academy, and as Head, he thought he should at least have some say in the matter. Holding the list in both hands loosely, he called out quickly "Thist?" He paused for a reply. "Okoto? (pause), Drestia, nice to see you, Von? (pause), Drizzt? (pause), Avani? (pause), Set, glad to see you in my class this year, Loki?" Greiver looked around with his foxglove eyes, and noticed an extra couple bodies in the room. "Anyone who's name I did not call, would you please come to the front now?" Greiver spotted one boy who he'd seen earlier outside the hallway, who would be Koios Starscream. Also, Greiver noticed Wedule being in the class, and not looking exactly thrilled about being skipped.
