Elusia steps over the numerous toys scattered about the moon lit room, her eyes downcast as each foot encourages a creak from the rickety floor boards. An eerie humming is heard, the voice of a woman; the girl's amethyst eyes widening. "Mother?" She murmurs, a hand lifting to tighten over her heart, eyes filling with clear liquid; she is silently weeping and although the past years have taught her to remain weary of the tricks of vengeful spirits, she is tempted still. The humming continues and gives no heed to the emere and so the gifted youth yet moves, standing still amongst the dust and broken glass that litters the ground around her leather bound toes. |
