Goran was in the running for the last Bond movie which was I believe Casino Royale. The powers that be chose Daniel Craig.
Um..yeah.

I'm glad they chose Daniel Craig. They can't have a non-British person play Bond! Daniel Craig is lovely though :D The eyes :D

He isn't being considered for Bond in this movie but as a supporting role, I'm not sure what the detail are for it though.

The role is Vespa Lynd's French Algerian boyfriend.

I think one of his parents comes from a muslim Roma family and another from a catholic Slavic family.

In Welcome to Sarajevo he played a muslim and I doubt that they would cast a non-muslim in that role, especially in a film like that.

And if he is going to play Vespa Lynd's Algerian ex-boyfriend then he would be playing a muslim.

And in ER S12 I noticed alot of muslim themes, not just in the Darfur episodes, but also the Lost in America episode, and with Michael going to Iraq. Even at Michael's funeral there was middle eastern/muslim music played over it. At the same time there several episodes where they had young girls ask Luka, "Are you a christian?" Now I think that TPTB are hinting at something that is going to happen in the next season. I also noticed that the word gypsy is also used here and there.

I think there is a reason why we have not met any of Luka's family. I think he will turn out to be one of those characters who will have one of those mysterious pasts that return to haunt him and it will be part of Luka's exit arc.

Both Goran's parents are Croatian. when he got the part in Welcome to Sarajevo the director said there were only aboout 15 actors left to choose from. He's not Muslim, I'm sure of it, Croatia is pretty much 100%Catholic. He was playing a Bosnian in Welcome To Sarajevo anyway. No reason why he couldn't play a Muslim.

Yeah, he's an actor. So I think that he is going to have a role like Muslim or Buddhist...or whatever it is!
