Hi everyone

I thought it would be interesting to find out what everyone does for job or if they are at school/college.

I at the moment am deputising as a manager in a county court the kind of work I do includes:

Dealing with Divorces, Bankruptcies, Possesions, Claims, Enforcement etc.. it can be quite interesting.

College, first year
New Carby signature yet to come!

A reason for Carby: Because Carter provides the "lo." And Abby the "ve."
Because he is the sky to her clouds.

Can't I be obsessed with both?

I also had a job this summer!!! LOL. I was scooping ice cream at an ice cream stand for IRVING. Quite fun. Some extra cash. And right now I am babysitting......whoohoo, go me!!! -_-
Lucy: Right Dr. Carter?

Jerry: Please don't call him Dr. Carter. We won't be able to live with him.

Lucy: Oh, what do I call him?

Jerry: Just... Carter...

My job is to help 5th and 6th graders with their homework. That's a pretty realxing job and it's well paid :)

Currently, I'm in 11th grade. I take 7 classes (German at 6:40 in the bleeping morning, American Cultures History, Amer. Cult. English, Digital Photography, Anatomy and Physiology, Astronomy, and Algebra 2 with Trig).

I work as a bus girl at a restaurant a couple of nights a week. It's my almost job, where I usually work less than 12 hours a week, but I like my coworkers, I like having pocket money, it gets me out of the house, and they feed me.

Also, I volunteer every week at a hospital, mostly in the medical library. My great accomplishment there is that I designed their logo.

I'm current on my placement year in university (my third year), so I'll go back next year for my final year. I'm doing a BSc (Hons) in Computing and I'm currently working for a software company as a Research Analyst / Junior Developer.

We-ll, my life in 25 volumes or less! Are you sitting down? Do you have some time? Do you want to take notes?

Most semesters for the past 8 years at least, I am a full time student and a full time worker. This semester I'm not mostly because I don't need to take extra courses and I'm trying to finish up an instructor ship. School wise, this will be my 4th degree, another masters, with 2 previous bachelors(one in engineering, one in biology) and 1 master (in criminal justice). Someone last week when they heard that said I must be very broke but actually, I've just been fortunate to work for people who pay for education. As long as education is affordable, I should take advantage of it. Further, the work I do should count toward degrees.

But I do take a lot of varied coursework. Finished majors in telecommunications, marine biology, and criminal justice. Tried majors in nuclear engineering, computer science. Official minors in computer science, psychology, NROTC. Unofficial minors in art history, anthropology, archaeology*. Additional coursework in women's studies, industrial ecology, history, Islamic and third world politics, and others.

The archaeology is *'d because my master's emphasis was on antiquity theft.

What I do is interestingly varied to say the least. Before, I was in the Navy (they paid for the first bachelor's) and there I did ships (small boats, helos, electronic warfare, intelligence) and law enforcement. In short, a Spook. These days, I pay my taxes by being in computers, but I also work as a diver. Add to that that I do law enforcement research which is usually academic, but at least once have people turned to me for answers because I've found that I have a reputation as an intellectual. That, and I train with security forces, attend briefings, from time to time.

It makes dinner table discussions interesting when with family. My brother is a shyster, so he knows all the ways in and out how to disable the law while I know the ways of how to enforce it, what's legal and what's not.

I know I may make it sound more exciting that to me it is but on the other hand, a lot of people find it exciting in what I do anyhow, so there you go.
