Very difficult to pick just 2. Here are some of the best: - When Dr.Greene said: " You set the tone, Carter", during 8S episode "Orion in the Sky" - When Romano loses his arm in "Chaos Theory" - When Carter and Luka participate in a "duel", like Susan called it, in 8S episode "Secrets and Lies" - Same episode, when Luka quotes "Hamlet" in Croatian. - When Carter finally finds Luka in the shelter, during 9S episode "The Lost" |

My top two favorite moments in the ER seasons 1-10 are the following: The episode from season 8 Titled "The Letter" --- when they read the letter that Dr. Greene wrote to the staff... although... i didnt like that Kerry was left out. my 2nd is... The episode from season 10 Titled "NICU" --- when Abby and Neela are in the NICU for a one month Elective... it had emotional ups and downs that I loved!! |

When Dr.Greene said: " You set the tone, Carter", during 8S episode "Orion in the Sky" When Carter finally finds Luka in the shelter, during 9S episode "The Lost" "All in the Family"- when they are working on Lucy Greene's breakdown at the end of 'Love's Labour Lost' The attack on Carter and Lucy in 'Be Still my Heart'. Gabriel Lawrence's frightened musings on his eventual fate with Alzheimers in 'The Peace of Wild Things'. Luka confronting his anger at God, listening to the cries of his family while the choir sings in 'A walk through the woods'. The departure of Doug Ross in 'The Storm'. The attack on Greene in 'Random Acts' The death of Dennis Gant in 'Night Shift' The intro to 'Take these Broken Wings'. I love Susan Lewis, I think her and Mark could had a great relationship. On the Beach SUCH SWEET SORROW I can not just pick two or one or three. There are a lot of episode and events that happen on ER that are the great moments. But, But, the top two are On the Beach and Union Station. Lockdown, Chaos Theropy, Homecoming. |

Okay, you need to stop posting that in every topic you comment on. |
| I'm beginning to think "E.R." stands for "Everyone's Retarded". | |

1)Kerry calling Romano her bitch. 2)The whole "Over the Rainbow" scene when Mark was dying...and the empty walk through of the ER. |

Carter being stabbed, falling to the ground and sees Lucy on the floor too. Rocket throwing the tray across the room after Lucy died, then trying again to save her. Carter punching Benton and breaking down. Reading Marks letter to everyone. |

That's a lovely topic!!
Those are all great moments that you guys shared so far. A few other moments that are on my mindat the moment: When Morgenstern says to Mark:"You set the tone, Mark" in the pilot! When Carter stands up for himself against Anspaugh to tell him that he could be a good surgent. But that he feels he can do best for his patients as an ER physician. When Carrol delivers her twins (season 6). When Lucy gets Romano from home at Christmas to help her treat a heart patient of her. When Deb delivers her son and then gives him away for adoption. In the episode when Abby finds out that her brother Erik is manic-depressive too. And she is said because her brother was the only person in her life that she could rely on. And Carter tells her that from now on she can rely on him (season 9 I think)

Season One: Blizzard: When Doug Ross comes into the ER with Lydia Wright after their Thanksgiving trip in the Bahamas, and Doug asked why the gang were cheering. The moment is, the look in his face when Carol said: "John Taglieri and I are getting married." until the end of the scene. The look in his face speaks volumes. Season Ten: When Abby goes to Luka's, unexpectedly to him, to have Thai dinner - Gillian's invitation. The moment is when Luka opens the door and sees a beaming Abby which is transferred to his face. He beamed too The smiles that they had were endearing.I'm sticking to two, off the top of my head

I can't really pick 2 but I think for the most part I agree with the consensus -I would definitely say that "on the Beach" is probably the most powerful episode on ER. I cried during that episode -for my second it would be a toss up between "Be Still my Heart", "may day" and "All in the Family". on another note I really liked chaos theory and the other episode (I can't remember the name) where Ramono died by helicopter. Those episodes would probably closely follow. |
