It said everyone would be surprised at who was chosen to sing the solo but Grimes got no solo! *wails* I wanted to hear him sing by himself Other than that, it was a good episode. Felt very satisfying when Eve punched the guy and poured the urine on him but I guess something had to come of it. Sucked she got dumped and fired on Christmas Eve For some reason, I thought that hypochondriac was Jewish. Jewish last name, voice sounded Jewish but either he didn't correct Clemente or really did celebrate Christmas. Interesting Edit: Basically, Eve got fired, Morris got chosen by Haleh to sing with her and Abby told Luka she was pregnant |

Can I just say OMFG. I loved the ending. It really kind of showed the true side of Abby, how afraid she was, but knew she had to tell him. And it was just a suprise for me, I thought we were find out next episode that she was pregnant. So I jumped out of my chair. I knew Grimes had a singing talent, so it came to know suprise to me that on the show he was going to be singing with haleh. And I loved the whole episode, especially Eve's anger issue. And I really hate this new surgeon. Its kind of like romano, with absolutely no heart what so ever. And I still have shivers from Abby and Luka, my god, so good. mmmmm. |

Keeping it short. I liked the episode. It had humor, drama, & was poignant. An effective set up episode for the next batch of episodes. |

Ooh ooh ooh! I love the Luby story line. Luka would be so happy to have a child. I hope there is not going to be some bad twist to this, like the baby isn't Luka's...remember Abby had that thing going with the now-vanished Jake. I hope that's not the case...the Luby thing is sweet. I liked the Eve thing, and I was glad the little girl pulled through. It was creepy how much Haleh and Morris sounded alike . Anyone else notice that? I am loving this season. Liz |

ITA with you about the LUBY line......I'm hoping the writer's don't fall into that 'Hollywood' trap by making it a complicated or tragic delivery/pregnancy! They've already had to deal with enough, separately & together. I too thought this pregnancy line was going to show up in a later epi, but that's OK.....Abby has to keep it after meeting her breast cancer patient & Luka is finally going to be a father again .....he has sooooooo wanted to from the start. Abby cannot be pregnant with anyone elses child....Jake has been out of the picture for many months & she just found out after 3 weeks of 'dating' Luka....soooooo there should be no question as to the paternity. Abby told him quickly too....that is good karma....not hiding the fact, nor trying to take care of it herself.....but preceding it with howo much the last 3 weeks meant to her & how much she cared. After that 'brain-fart' she had earlier in the day about whether or not she was spending the holiday with Luka, it was a good move on her part. How could she have said 'no' to those sparkling eyes & mischevious smile of his?? I couldn't believe she had the willpower to resist it! Even for a nanosecond But did you see the expressions flickering across his face when Abby said she wanted to talk? Dismay, fear, pain, .....his whole body hesitated & deflated! Even when he got the news....his body language was anticipation, fear, excitement....all communicated without a word...with Abby's fear & worry too, not wanting to lose each other was palpbable between them in the last scene.
Great acting!Yes, and so much for the Nurse Manager story arc......she came in with a bang & went out the same way. We knew her story arc was going to be a short one. AND YES!!! it was VERY creepy how much like Haleh Scott Grimes sounded......If the camera hadn't been focusing on him when he was singing , I would have thought it was Haleh for sure!! The auditions were kind of like a mini-American Idol, with only Simon as the judge! But even though she picked Morris, he surely didn't sing much & there was no harmonizing either...Why bother? Just hog the spotlight & enjoy! Ah, but it was rather entertaining! As for Clemente & Jody....he still better be watching his butt! A cop can track you down very easily & be very to your health in many ways. But obviously neither he nor JOdy have very much self-control....the 'death knells' are tolling for Victor Clemente's character too....we'll see how much longer he's on the screen. You KNOW he'll end up at the Marriott soon enough!
As for the new surgeon...very Romano-like, but even less likable since she seems to have little or no compassion for the patients or the staff....Kerry & she will 'butt heads' in the future, I'm sure! Not to mention a few of the other staff members! But if her surgical skills are as good as she is obnoxious, that sweet little child will pull through with flying colors! It was another good epi.....really nice interactions amoungst the ensemble cast! Plus we lost one B**ch and gained a new one! Merry Christmas! Ho, Ho, HO!!! |

Loved the episode even though I missed the first 15 minutes. Any episode I get to see the beautiful nurse Chuny and Abby is a good one, only wish Neela had been present. It's good to see Abby happy. I would have loved to see her end up with Carter but he had to go, so Luka will do. Always saw Luka as Carters main competition which made me like Luka in the end. Dr. Carter, Dr. Peter Benton, Doug Ross, Lucy Knight, and Carol Hathaway. Will always miss you! |
