I am reading 'The Absorbant Mind' by Maria Montessori for college, as well as my Child Care and Education book. Sadly I don't have time to read anything else

Trying to decide whether I'm brave enough to try Dostoyevksy...

My friend has been reading a lot of his work lately, and she keeps saying that it's great, if a little demented.

I should be reading Across Five Aprils By: Who Knows, but I'm currently reading The Second Summer of the Sisterhood and The Time Capsule. I know they're not very hard books, but I spend so much time reading fanfictions that I can't find the time to read real books.

Currently I'm reading Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice. I read it years ago but just now found it again in the mess I call my room. Very good and plus they made a movie out of it, which is one of my favorite movies. I want to find the rest of the Vampire Chronicles books by her as well.

OH! Excellent book, once you get into the story...it's fantastic. I remember not touching it in 7th grade, and then when I was forced to in 8th; WHY didn't I read it then?! ^_^

The movie is also very good, too, with Gregory Peck.

Reviewing A Room with a View by E.M. Forster and Frankenstein by Mary Shelley (ick!)

You guys read it in 7th grade? Haha here we read it in 11th.

We just finished watching the movie, it was good, but parts of it were sooo boring. I think it could have been made better. It would be interesting to see if the made a remake, what it would be like.

Trying to think of some books to read for my Independent Study essay in English...any suggestions?

...So far, Dostoyevsky and I aren't really getting along. I've been reading Crime and Punishment for two weeks and I'm only on about page 48...and I'm known as a fast reader...
