It's like the song thread. It can be any reading material; something online, magazines, etc., but mainly books and novels. In case anyone wants some suggestions, check in here.
The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins Great Expectations by Charles Dickens The Dive from Clausen's Pier by Ann Packer First is this Victorian sensation novel; looked interesting. Second is self-explanatory. Third, been wanting to read it for a long time, and then I saw the Lifetime movie, but the book is different; lots more details and more complex. |

[+] One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich by Alexander Solzhenitsyn. "The simply told story of a typical, grueling day of the titular character's life in a labor camp in Siberia, is a modern classic of Russian literature and quickly cemented Solzhenitsyn's international reputation upon publication in 1962." |

Currently I'm not reading anything but I would like to suggest a few books: Ring (By Koji Suzuki) Spiral (By Koji Suzuki) Loop (By Koji Suzuki) <~~~~These three books are freakin AWESOME if you like Scary/Sci-Fi type books. Also Read: The Blue Dress (I have no idea who it's by but it's a GREAT book) A Handmaid's Tale (By Margret Atwood) And Read any of the Prey Books by John Sanford...Certain Prey and Winter Prey come to mind...I've read more then that but I can't think of any titles. Stephen King books that are my favorites are as follows (Not in any particular order) IT Pet Sematary Needful Things The Stand Carrie Night Shift The Dead Zone For Any Teen readers out there try Christopher Pike especially the Chain Letter books. Also Try "Sweet Sixteen and never been killed" I don't know who that's by either but it's Great! All those books are horror books. ~Monica |

School starts on Thursday. I had to read & journalize two of a list before it starts. So this summer vacation I had to read: "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens "1984" by George Orwell I like Charles Dickens and the story was good, though the grammar was atrocious. (I know why it was, it just bugged me.) George Orwell is a great writter with an imaginative mind. "1984" is better written. However, I hated the subject matter. (It goes against things I believe in.) For fun, I read anything and everything by Lori Wick. She is the best author ever! I have all of her novels and have read each of them at least 5 times.
