I just watched this episode today, as it is one of my favorites. I think that it all worked out well with her leaving, although I was uncertain how it would end up. However, I am glad that she is back. :D

I actually heard that there was an alternate ending written...had Sherry Stringfield changed her mind about leaving...

SUSAN WOULD HAVE GOTTEN OFF THE TRAIN AND RAN TO MARK!! :o

*ahem* I just thought that would've been such a happy ending...SAPPY, yes, but nonetheless happy for all you Marsan fans. All-time romantic endings...Doug and Carol, Carter and Kem, and what could've been, Mark and Susan.

As it is, Mark and Elizabeth got together (I've heard some fans complain that the two have no chemistry, not like Marson or Cordano anyways  ) and Susan eventually married Chuck. When Susan came back, Mark was soon to leave...so *sniffles* Last real Marson moment... :D

It is one of my favorite episodes too! I have season 3 on DVD and I sometimes watch Union Station just to see Mark run across Chicago to tell Susan to stay and that he loves her. It is one of my favorite scenes and can't get enough of it.

I am a big Marsan fan.

of course Susan should have stayed...I was practically yelling at my tv when Mark took off running to find her - how could she say no? *sigh*

I wish she hadn't left, I don't think she should have ended up with Mark, but I think they should have at least given it a try, and then maybe she'd find another reason to stay in Chicago. The particular reason I have in mind perhaps woudn't be the most plausible... or probable, but I think it could work.... or could have... once upon a time...

The only problem was Susan was leaving to look after Susie and Chloe - it wasn't her personal decision - as in affecting only herself. Otherwise, she would have most likely stayed.

The relationship would have worked. Just like Mark said to Susan: "We belong together" , "we're right together". They do!

But when Susan said "I love you" did she mean friendly love or *Love* love ?

I think she meant real love. Do you remember when she yelled out "I love you" to Mark? then he shouted back "What?" She accented "I Do love you" So I think that's it.

It cracks me up. You can leave it. You can kick it.

Thanks
I agree with you about Secrets and Lies :D I Loved the moment in virginity game when Susan said that she lost her to Mark hehe Carter's look was just priceless. You have to agree that Susan has the Best sense of humour in the ER, hasn't she?
