Use rechargable batterys in your camera and any thing else that takes double A batterys (do they make rechargable batterys in other sizes?) They cost more then the regular kind but in the end it saves you a bunch of money and they dont rot at the dump. Some enviro weenie who is always preaching about how cars are bad is always using throw away batterys in his camera for photograpy. Today he was bragging about how many batterys hes gone through in the past few weeks so I asked him why he didnt just buy rechargable ones. "ah i dont really know i dont feel like getting them" I said "Well maybe you should, its wasteful to be throwing out those batterys every day and they pollute the soil, plus rechargable batterys are cheeper in the long run" "yeah but I ride my bike instead of driving so im still saving the enviroment"  yeah dumbass Al Gore would be proud. |

Typical of the hypocrites. Good point Kyle and yes they are available in other sizes. or used to be anyways. We have some AA's but need to get more. Sucks to be on too low a budget to make more changes. |
