I am most decidedly new to even the concept of a forum, so I hope I am posting this right. But on to what you really want to know. I will start where it starts for almost everyone. The Pilot. All it took was seeing Bones kick the butt of that Homeland Security Officer at the Airport and I was gone. I didn't know it at the time, of course. You don't know your hooked until you try to get away from it. I was looking around on Fancast.com one night when sleep wouldn't come to me. I was looking around at the different shows that they were previewing. I don't know how, but I found the Pilot. I was short on cash and tired of any entertainment that would require monetary support so I click on it. I was hoping for some dull form of entertainment at best. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. By the end of the third day (Hey, I do have a life. . . I think) I was at the end of the first season. I clicked, I searched. They didn't have the second season on line. I was short on cash, and unwilling to buy it online. But I couldn't help it. I had to have it. A couple of days later a saving light appeared. I was walking through a Shopko (a watered down, non-grocer version of Wal-mart) when I saw it somewhere near the sporting section. I though it was odd at the time, but the nice white price tag appeared before me and I threw caution to the wind. I could have the second season of Bones for only twenty dollars! I soon caught up on season three in various ways that have blocked themselves from my trance induced searches on the internet. I was giddy when the writers strike ended and I was able to watch each episode as it became available for public viewing. I have since read B/B fan fiction and seen the movies on Youtube.com. But I have been searching for something more. People of my own kind who share my inherent need for Brainy Women and Beautiful Men. For Geeky and Cute Scientists and Sarcastic and Angelic Artists. I have found you at last! (I did not mean to sound demonic or evil right there.) And only one word can describe how I came to be here: Google! Yeah, I searched on Google and found you here. I have also heard this place mentioned on other sites that I cannot remember the names of. Not too good with names. I hope that I shall become good friends with all you B/B heads! P.S. Sweets is HOT! P.P.S. Dr.SophieCarter, I want Sid back as well. |
