![]() Robbie Williams left Take That in 1995 Robbie Williams' mother has added to speculation that her son may rejoin his former band, Take That. Jan Williams told the Stoke Sentinel newspaper that the 33-year-old star was "thrilled" at how successful the group had become after reforming in 2005. "On the question of him doing something with them, I feel that will happen. It would be something he wanted to do," she said. Williams left Take That in 1995, and the band split the following year. Since reforming, the group has gone on to produce two number one singles, a number one album, and in February they won their fifth Brit award. Williams' career however has not been doing so well in recent months. Although he was nominated for a Brit award this year, he failed to win anything. His latest album, Rudebox, was panned by critics and the first single from it debuted at number four in the UK. He recently completed a stint in rehab for a dependency on prescription drugs, after he checked himself in on his 33rd birthday in March. ![]() Take That won best single at the Brit awards this year In September, his Asian tour was called off because of stress and exhaustion. "He's okay, he's fine, he's on a good recovery," said Mrs Williams, who recently flew out to LA to be with her son. "He's enjoying his life and his football and going out with the lads and having a laugh. It's great to see. "He's doing a lot of writing, he spends a lot of time in his studio. He's in a very good place," she added. Despite the decline of her son's career, Mrs Williams refuses to criticise Take That. "I'm thrilled that out of all the negative stuff that happened in the past, there's now something great happening." she said. "Take That were excellent when they were all together and they are excellent now," she added. |

It would be a shock if he did rejoin the group. But I'm not a fan of Take That, so its not a big deal to me at all. | |

Hahaha, yeah thats a possible case...Robbie left Take That cause he wanted to be bigger on his own...it only takes ONE Take That song and all of a sudden they're bigger than he is...so imo it'll be a case of Robbie "jumping on the bandwagon" |
