Hasselhoff's cinematic comeback
Posted on Thr, 21-Apr-2005

Seems those latter episodes of "Angel" were right - the apocalypse is coming.

David Hasselhoff looks set to return to film, with a rather sizable role in a rather large-ish pic. You can blame Adam Sandler.

Sandler looks like enlisting the former brains behind "Baywatch" for a role in his next pic, "Click", says Variety. He'd play the funnyman's boss.

The much more bankable Kate Beckinsale ["Underworld"] is also in line for a role, says the trade.

"Click", from director Frank Coraci, will star Sandler as a chap who finds a magical remote control that enables him to rewind and fast-forward through parts of his life. Trouble kicks in when the remote starts to make the choices for him.

The film begins production in Mid-June.

Miss Universe and Sandler just Click?
Posted on Mon, 6-Jun-2005

Bowl-them-over-beautiful Jennifer Hawkins looks set to import her cool-ass curves to Hollywood.

The 2004 Miss Universe has been contacted by Adam Sandler, whose asked her to appear in his next movie "Click".

After watching Hawkins during last week's Miss Universe pageant, Sandler rang Hawkins' Sydney manager with the offer at 6am on Friday, says The Sunday Telegraph.

The 21-year-old stunner, currently on holidays with friends in Bali, was flabbergasted by the news.

"I love Adam Sandler, I think he's hilarious," Hawkins tells the paper. "The fact that he wants me in his new movie is totally unbelievable. I don't know whether I'm able to free up July and August to shoot it, but if it works out then it would be fantastic."

"Click", co-starring Christopher Walken, Kate Beckinsale and David Hasselhoff, is the story of an over-worked architect (Sandler) who finds a remote control with special powers. The remote allows Sandler to fast forward and rewind his life.
