Isn't that we have a coast watch system monitoring this area? Is our government afraid to inflame the situation in the WPS by at least asking the Chinese ambassador what in the world is a Chinese frigate doing so close to Palawan. We should accuse them of inflamming the situation by sending this "fisherman-hunter" in our surrounding waters and Spratlys itself. We should make a big fuzz every time a naval ship is spotted or confirmed that it is from China and is in our surroundings!

This shows some serious flaws in our defense capability and we need to sound the alarm, NOW! We should get out of our planned acquisitions and go to our emergency mode because these Chicoms are about to eat our lunch and our children's future.

It is our territory and the whole world knows it. Give the chicom pigs 48 hours to get that fkn ship cleared of personnel and start bombing it. Since it is in our territory, we can give the Americans rights to "inspect" it. This would be little different from what the Chinese do when American equipment is "lost" in another country. Hell allow the americans to interdict this ship on our behalf.

Right now we are looking like impotent jackasses for not having responded in any kind of forceful way. If we do not respond to this incident it will guarantee the Chinese will rape us even more.

So you're saying that if we fired at the chinese vessel we'd be the one starting the war???

Haven't we have the right to protect our very own territory???

If we're on our own, SO WHAT??? It's our responsibilty to protect the integrity of our territory. The chicom ship have no business to be there in the first place!

China cannot just attack our ships! If they do then thats the start of WW5!

me:

If they do then it's the start of the Philippine-Chinese War. We're on our own.

The million-dollar question. Two days of silence.

Alberto Del Rosario came down hard on Cambodia for yielding to the pressure. Where is he now?

The US already made the MDT clear to us. We will not be alone. But for now the US are trying hard to avoid any military conflict. Let alone the rest of ASEAN, if any of them help us then thats great. If not then so be it. Im optimistic that our allies will not leave us alone.

I bet the US has been talking to the RP military not to provoke china. Surrounding that frigate with RP ships might be considered as provoking specially if they tried to come near it.

But if iwere PNoy i would send grey ships there and conduct a naval blockade around it to prevent more chinese ships from entering our waters. And we willbe the one to assist that frigate, but if they refused then so be it no help, no chinese rescue as well. We will hold it hostage then and forced the chinese government tobargaining table.
